Lu Cheng ignores her surprised look and folds his sleeves of his shirt seriously.
Tang Xi looks at him shocked and asks "Cheng? Are you....seriously you are giving me a leg massage?!".
Lu Cheng brings a stool and sits beside the bed near Tang Xi.
Tang Xi holds his hand by stopping him "I said its fine and nothing unusual".
Lu Cheng smirks "I read somewhere it will still hurt due to weight gain. So stop lecturing me Teacher as I am not going to listen to you anyway!".
Tang Xi smiles at him "You read?!"and mocks "I thought you only read your business documents?!".
Lu Cheng starts massaging her feet and says "You have no idea what I have planned for the following days from today".
She asks "What?".
Lu Cheng declares "You are not that dumb. You will find out so soon!".
Tang Xi looks at him darkly "..." Is he being sarcastic?!
Lu Cheng keeps on massaging and Tang Xi smiling all the time until he finished. 'Is he planning to run away again?! So he is trying to please me ...so that I would tell him to leave and continue his business?'.
He declares proudly "Its done!"and stands wiping his hands by a towel "Come after freshening up. We will have breakfast together".
He walks into the bathroom and comes in a minute after washing his hands.
Tang Xi looks at him smugly 'Go on! Try everything! I will still make you plead to get allowed to go!'.
She looks at her mobile and thinks 'I have to call Yuhan and know what's he doing...'.
She goes to freshen up and comes out patting her face with a towel. She calls Tang Yuhan.
Tang Yuhan asks "What's it?".
Hearing his sullen voice, she frowns "What's wrong? Why do you sound-".
Tang Yuhan sighs defeated as its no use to show his anger on Tang Xi "I am fine. Tell me-".
Tang Xi asks irked "What's there to tell Yuhan?! You have to do something about the shares! I don't want to betray Cheng behind his back so-".
Tang Yuhan scoff "I know I know...Keep on pampering him and he will keep on betraying you! Wait! Did you mention yourself as a betrayer but the fact is your husband himself a great liar!".
Tang Xi gets silent hearing him.
Tang Yuhan frowns doubtfully "You there?!".
Tang Xi asks "Why do complain every time Yuhan?! Tell me whether you can do it or not! Or I will help Cheng MYSELF to buy his shares back!".
Tang Yuhan snorts "You won't have the inconvenience as your husband isn't planning to get those shares back at all!".
Tang Xi spat in shock "What?!".
Tang Yuhan nods "He has been dangerously idle since I started to buy his shares. He didn't made a single move".
Tang Xi gets thinking and subconsciously recalls Lu Cheng's words before 'You have no idea what I have planned for the following days from today'.
She asks doubtfully "What is he thinking?".
Tang Yuhan shrugs "No idea! But beware for him. Sure he has something going on in his mind. About the shares... I will let Han clan to go bankrupt and about Lu Cheng's, will do return in few days".
She nods ending the call and smiles "I thought he would at least be angry about the issue. But why does he look so relaxed?".
She walks downstairs slowly and sighing 'Why do I feel that I am gonna break my spine soon? I can't travel anymore if this goes on....Ananya's wedding will be in 2 months...'.
She walks cautiously as she never liked getting hurt anyway and especially now, she can't afford being careless.
She stops at the dinning hall and frowns seeing the dishes "Indian?".
Lu Cheng comes out with a glass of fresh juice and looks at her smiling "You are here? Sit! Lets eat. I am hungry".
Tang Xi sits looking at him and asks "What's your plan Cheng?".
Lu Cheng freezes and looks at her blankly "Plan?".
She smiles "I am not taunting. Just curious to know. What did you plan for the following days?".
Lu Cheng lets out a relaxed breath and sits smiling "You scared me! I thought you misunderstood something!".
Tang Xi looks him scrutinizing his face.
He says serving her the food "I am just planning to gift you something that I never did before".
Tang Xi looks at him questioning "And what exactly is that?"
He chuckles "Ask everything while eating Wifey! I am not running away anywhere".
She blushes looking her plate "..." Wifey My foot!! He always closes my mouth using these words! But I won't be falling for them anymore!.
She asks eating a spoonful of greens "Then tell me! What's is the gift?". She looks at him and smirks 'Very well...Gifting something to melt my heart? Not bad...But expensive things won't satisfy me anyway! Let me see what do you do to impress me?'.
He sighs "I am still working on it. So why are you dying to know?! Don't you know how romantic I am? And do you doubt my skills?".
COUGHS!!
Tang Xi chokes herself and coughs.
Lu Cheng stands instantly and pats her back feeding her water.
She slams him hard and coughs 'Romantic my foot!! My goodness! I didn't blush!'.
Lu Cheng sits beside her worried "I swear I won't open my mouth until you finish your food! Are you alright?!".
Tang Xi who was wiping her nose and tears sniffing and looks at his poor face. She laughs suddenly.
HAAA HAAA!!
Lu Cheng was taken aback and looks at her blankly "What happened?!".
Tang Xi pinches his cheek and smiles "You look cute!!".
Lu Cheng looks at her darkly and raises his eyebrows "Just cute?".
Tang Xi looks his smirk and laughs "What else? You are not any Greek God! You just look cute now. Not much".
She pushes him back to his seat and declares "Don't forget! You just swore that you wouldn't talk until I finish eating".
Lu Cheng looks at her dumbfounded "..." F***!! Did I get trapped in my own words?!.
Tang Xi eats her breakfast ignoring his staring and stands proudly "I will be get going now. Thanks for the food and don't forget to arrange someone to cook me lunch. Or shall I call Aunt Song?".
Lu Cheng smirks "I will take care of it" and looks at her walking away.
