Tang Xi looks at him with puppy eyes and asks "Chocolate?".
Lu Cheng smiles awkwardly "Wifey..Tell me some dishes..You are starving right? You can't eat chocolates as a meal" and frowns.
Why is she behaving so weird today!?
She blinks and says "Some sweet...?".
Lu Cheng pecks her forehead and smiles "I will be back!". He goes out buttoning his coat.
She looks at the dishes on the table and sighs. She purses her lips suspiciously 'Have I gone crazy? Did I get spoiled by him?'
She wonders "Why can't he see me crying? Does he love me so much?".
But instantly she frowns angrily "But he was following me! Humph! I won't forgive him easily this time!".
She sits hugging her stomach and waits for him.
Lu Cheng comes with some additional dishes and places on the table before her. She swallows and her eyes lit seeing them.
She starts eating them fast and didn't even look at Lu Cheng till, she finished 3 dishes!
Lu Cheng really gets suspicious 'Is she really my wife?'.
She keeps the chopsticks and looks at him "I am going out".
Lu Cheng frowns "Where? Its late already".
She scoffs "I can't say! This is your punishment!".
Lu Cheng was taken aback "What!? Punishment for what?".
She says strictly "For leaving me alone !".
He twitches his lips "Wifey! How about appreciating me for bringing you food now? I did will right? Tell me where are you going?".
She furrows her eyebrows "I was starving because you left me alone when I was sick! You are the reason for my sickness! So it doesn't count!".
Lu Cheng opens his mouth to say something but closes his lips. He looks at her sadly.
She smiles and walks out leaving him alone. He really felt his wife has been 'replaced' by some spoiled child!
However he walks towards the window to take a look at her and calls Bran "Bran, Where is she going? Who was that man? Send me-".
"CLANG!!"
Lu Cheng turned stone hearing the sound. He turns and sees her looking at him in disbelief.
Didn't she go? F*** I am dead!
Tang Xi was feeling disgusted looking at him. She picks up the mobile which she forgot before and chuckles coldly "You are asking someone to check on me? Lu Cheng ! Go to hell!!".
She storms out of the room and enters into the elevator. She gets angry "He asked someone to follow me and report him? How long he has been doing that?!".
She reaches the underground parking floor and steps out. She gets a call from Ananya.
She asks rubbing her forehead tired "Did you reach Lu Residence?".
Ananya says "No..My flight got delayed..I an hailing a cab now!".
Tang Xi says "Reach Tang Villa... I will meet you there..".
Ananya frowns "But why?".
Tang Xi says "I dumped him too!!" and hangs the call.
She gets into the car and mumbles frustrated "Did he come just because I was meeting a man?". Humph!
She drives away and reaches the Tang Villa.
Lu Cheng has searched her everywhere and this damn elevator made him stuck at right time!. She is gone while he reached the parking lot. He is about to call Bran but stopped hesitating. He drives to Lu Residence and enters the home.
He searches for her and stops seeing the unfinished dishes and groceries on the table. He looks around the empty home and sighs "Was she all alone when I wasn't here? She was alone, when she was sick!".
He felt his heart ache remembering her pale face and walks out.
