"Miss Melissa, The person you asked me to kill is dead now. "
Derek hold Emma's hand as he storms into the Chong's mansion. Melissa thought Derek changed his mind. As she was happily opening the door, she saw Derek holding Emma's hand. Her heart sank. Yet, she still maintain a smile.
"Hi Derek, Hi Emma. What brings you here? " Derek looked at Melissa with anger "Don't tell me you don't know about anything about the car accident." Melissa was stunned. "What are you saying Derek, my dear? I don't understand." "Stop acting Melissa Chong! "
Melissa turned and looked at Emma. She walked towards her and slapped her face. Derek slapped her back and shouted "Just tell me why?! Why do you want to hurt Emma so much? Do you hate her so much?! " "Yes I hate her a lot! She snatched my fiance! Sl*t ,what the f*ck do you want from me? Why do you want to destroy my life? "
Emma apologize to Melissa. "What's the point of apologizing? It can't change things! " Derek looked at Melissa and said "Check the news tonight Melissa Chong!" Then he stormed off. "Why does this have to happen to me?"
She cried like she never cried before. Then, she thought about Derek's words. Check the news?
Emma on the other hand was still in shocked. Derek gave her a hug and said "I'm sorry. " Emma burst into tears. She never thought that someone will call her a sl*t ; She never thought that someone will just slap her in the face ; She never thought that because of her appearance, someone's engagement was cancelled ; She never thought that.....
Derek's heart ached. He didn't say anything. He just let Emma to cry on his shoulders. He passed her a tissue. Then he drove her home. When Emma got out from the car she thanked Derek for everything he had done today and suggested that they shouldn't meet again. But instead Derek said "Shh... Jeez we will meet again ok. Go and get some rest. Call me if you need anything and I'm really sorry about what happened today. "
After seeing Emma entered her house, Derek called his secretary "Destroy the Chong Corps this instance! "
His secretary was shocked but he said "No problem Mr Lim I will do it right now."
Emma heard the conversation between Derek and his secretary. She don't know what how react. She should be happy or sad? Then, she too understand Derek's words "Check the news tonight! "
