章節 390: Breaking the Hold

Celes yelled as she ran forward and grabbed Laz's legs as Laz struggled against the shadows, trying her best to drag him back.

"Attack the shadows," Laz yelled as even his strong body was being restricted by so many different entities trying to pile on him.

Celes quickly complied, striking out hard at the ones binding Laz's hands and feet. The days she had spent training with him hadn't gone to waste as she showed the results of her training.

With both of them working together combined with the fact that the shadows themselves refused to attack Celes, Laz quickly freed himself and retreated with Celes positioned behind him.

"What are you doing?" The lead, female like shadow asked Celes, her eyeless head faced directly towards Celes. 

"What the hell are you doing? Why are you trying to take him?" Celes shot back, glaring daggers at the one she had thought was her friend.
