章節 14: Meeting Sylphiette
After a few days
His illusion training has positive results and he can now produce a low tier illusions. If he keep this training, he can imitate Itachi with his crow illusions.
Rudy's next project is to incorporate element magic in his Rasengan. He still can't combine Rasengan with melded element because although his mana was enormous for a child, it isn't enough yet to produce a stable melded Rasengan.
For now, he was trying to combine Rasengan with Lightning magic. Rudy will imitate Boruto's achievement, which is Vanishing Rasengan. This Rasengan are good for sneak attack because when you throw it, the Rasengan will shrink until it's gone. You will not realized until the Rasengan will hit you.
While Rudy was busy doing his little project, due to his enhanced hearing, he heard a commotion about a certain child being bullied.
"Get out demon! You don't belong in our village!" Three kids are throwing ball of mud at the kid wearing a cloak.
'Tsk tsk tsk... Even though I'm prepared in this event, it still hurts me when they doing this to Sylphy.' He couldn't help but feel hurt when he witness this kind of situation.
He immediately approach them slowly and Rudy created a small Rasengan with Lightning magic. He carefully control it's speed, power and rotation so it doesn't kill a civilian, even though that civilian was a bully.
[Vanishing Rasengan!]
He throws the Rasengan and disappeared. Rudy waited for a while until the leader of the bully suddenly felt a punch in his face and knock down.
Rudy use his Shunpo so he can immediately appear to them and try to shield the child with wearing cloak.
"Apologize to this girl! And don't bother her again." Rudy's Scarlet Sharingan appears and the bullies felt that something grabs there heart. They immediately apologize and take there leader so they can go out as soon as possible.
Rudy now look behind him and check the bullied girl if something was hurt.
"It's okay. They won't bother you again." He looks at the girl and notice that she was still crying.
*sniff* "Thank you, but I'm alright now." The girl was still dejected because this is only temporary. Eventually, she will get bullied again.
"Please, you don't have to be kind to me. I don't want you to be shunned like me." She suddenly removes her hood.
She's been bullied whenever someone sees her, even the adults are not better, they whisper about something that she was a demon of sorts.
Rudy knows why her hair was not long, because if someone sees her emerald hair, she attract people's attention due to fear of the Spelds.
"Actually, we are the same. I'm also trying to hide so they won't bully me." He showed his Scarlet Sharingan to Sylphy.
Sylphy was shocked because this is the first time that she saw a very beautiful eyes. Such beautiful scarlet with two black dots are now staring at her.
"Are you disgusted that you know that I have demon eyes?" He smiles at Sylphy when he said this.
"Is that really a demon eyes? This is the first time that I see those kind of eyes." She look at his eyes while blushing.
"My parents told me that this eyes originated by the demon empress. I don't know how it really works but that's what they told me." For her safety, Rudy didn't tell the truth completely, for now.
"But your eyes are beautiful. Uhmmm..." Sylphy tried to call his name but realizes that she doesn't know his name.
"Call me Rudy." To think that he forgot to introduce himself, at least he doesn't scare her even though he's stranger until now.
'Rudy... Hehehe...' Sylphy didn't want to let Rudy know that she finds his name cute.
"Can I ask your name, lady?" Since he can feel that the atmosphere are now heartwarming, Rudy over-dramatically ask her name to make her laugh.
"I'm Sylphy." She shyly said her name.
Rudy was impressed to Sylphy being not entirely introvert. In the original canon, she can't state her name properly when she introduce herself to the original Rudy. Maybe because she open her heart easily since she found a new kindred spirit. She has demon hair, and Rudy has demon eyes.
"Can we be friends? Uhmmm... Let's be friends!" Rudy reach his hand so he can shake Sylphy's hands. A sign of starting new friendship.
Sylphy happily shakes his hand while tears run down on her face. If this is a dream, then she hopes that she will never wake up.
He finally notice that she's still dirty due to the bullies throws mud at her and trying to protect the basket.
"Put your things down first. I'm going to fix you up in a second." Sylphy, having a friend for the first time, listen to him and didn't argue.
The girl kneel beside him for a while and Rudy begins to wash her up by producing water out of thin air, he also manipulate the temperature of the water to become warm with fire magic. After that, he dry her up using wind magic with a gentle heat of fire magic.
"See! You really have beautiful hair. I like it, Sylphy." He can't help it when Rudy saw her short hair while shining in emerald luster.
"Thank you..." The girl was shy because this is the first time that someone compliments her hair.
She couldn't help but feel traumatized due to her hair color. Rudy wants to cure her problem and make her be proud of herself.
"So how does it feel, being freshen up?" Rudy couldn't help but smile when he saw how cute this girl is. Not only that, she has long ears. This is the first time that he saw a genuine elf.
Sylphy nods while her face blushed. She couldn't help but be attracted by his cute face, and take note, he was the one who save her being bullied. She can't help to experience new feelings that she doesn't know of.
"What's with the basket?" Rudy asked her and maybe help her to handle the basket.
"My mother asked me to bring lunch for my father, since he forgot take it this morning." Sylphy answered.
"Then I should help you to deliver your father's lunch. And I'm worried that something happen again to you, so I'm going to accompany you." Rudy takes the basket in his left hand and find it slightly heavy.
Since he begins to practice Taijutsu, Rudy's strength was somehow improve that no child could defeat him if they confront him, he can hold this basket in one hand without a problem.
Rudy being bold, holds Sylphy's left hand tightly with his right. The girl suddenly blushed but she didn't resist. To think that Sylphy will allow him to hold her hand, she's somehow defenseless to strangers.
While holding hands, Rudeus and Sylphy are going to her father to deliver his lunch. He also want to introduce himself so he can see his future father in law.
