The moment Kazuya lifted his left hand, the ring on his left ring finger reflected the light in the room, causing Lilica to take notice of it. When she saw his simple but meaningful ring, her heart felt like it was torn apart. She suddenly felt guilty for his wife even though when they had sex she didn't feel a thing for her.

"....Mmm... It's okay... I understand..." She kissed him back and replied.

After their kiss, Kazuya turned his back to her and left the room without looking back.

A young man quickly strode across the long hallway, making his way to a room. The room was spacious yet simple. It was full of medical equipments.

"Brother!" The young man shouted worriedly as he entered the room.

"Father. Mother. Sister-in-law ." He immediately greeted them as soon as he saw the people inside the room.

"How is he? I heard from sister-in-law that his condition deteriorated." The young man asked worriedly.

"Your brother's condition has stabilized but..." As she said this, the sister-in-law teared up.

"...but his chances of waking up has gone down tremendously... sob..." The young woman sobbed silently as she looked at the man on the bed in his vegetative state.

"Brother..." The young man glanced at his sleeping brother solemnly.

"I'll definitely find the culprit and take revenge for you!"
