I saw unknown shapes. I was scared.
I tried from all the walking. I just reached my housing community gate. The security was a new one, so he didn't recognize me. I stood there waiting for the manager.
it was him. The gate keeper I always knew. "Hello Mr. Abo, it's me," I faintly smiled at him. My body was breaking, but I still felt happy. I loved the rain after all.
Mr. Abo started panicked when he saw me there by the gate. I don't blame him. I disappeared for a year and here I was a year later standing in-front of him smiling while socked in the rain. he probably pitied me for what I was that day
"Young Master, is that you?!"
"It's me, Mr. Abo. I'm back." [still smiling]
"Oh my, come sit inside. I shall immediately call Master."
"It has been a year..."
"Yes, it has been a year..."
I sat there for a minute looking at Mr. Abo and the new gate keeper, I felt peaceful. I felt like I could keep on looking at them forever. But that forever didn't last, because I fell… un… unconscious.
When I woke up, my vision was blurry. I couldn't see anyone, I was able to hear my surrounding. I heard my mom and dad's voices, my sisters' and my... my baby brother's voice; my dear Edward's voice. I wanted to see his face but couldn't. My vision was still blurry.
After four days from my arrival, I got my clear vision back. it took a while, but I couldn't care less. all I cared about was to see my family and of cause to see my baby brother.
my mom and dad both came in the room accompanied by my sisters. I turned my head left and right. my eyes were searching fro Edward, but he was not there.
It was still raining outside, and even with my clear vision back, I still couldn't see Edward.
"Mom, Dad, where is 'Edward'?"
"'Edward'... [they both looked at each other] 'Edward' who, Honey?"
He was not there...
Note:
I '' Edward because this is his GN and not his SN. His Seen family know him with his birth name of course.
I having a comeback after a year really mean something to me. I noticed how my style has changed. Hoping it has changed for the better.
And I added a Second volume to the novel. The first volume isn't done yet (I still have a lot to do with it), but this second volume clears a part of the missing puzzle in the story.
