章節 14: He is my carbon copy!
Before the wedding in the changing room
"Son, Only I see the facts. You two are not even close as husband and wife. How will you build a family?"
Wang Shu tried her last attempt to prevent the wedding.
"Mom isn't it too late to say such things. I have a wedding in an hour!"
Li Wei was irritated but still tried to pacify his mother.
"It is never late. We can still cancel," she said.
"Mom, I have a kid already. Did you forget?" Li Wei reminded his mom.
"I know you are a responsible person and the pregnancy was an accident which forced you for marriage. What about the kid, he is our grandson. Yuyu will accept him wholeheartedly!"
"Mom!" he was angry now.
"How do you want me to accept this?
Did you ask for my permission even my opinion? You directly came home with a child!" she cried."Yuyu loves you so much," she added.
Nevertheless, Mom was reluctant to accept the truth. Her son was a Dad!
"Auntie, Please! I have accepted it. Even if my heart is broken I will still wish them happiness in their life." Yuyu walked to Wang Shu wiping a tear.
"Look at this kindhearted girl. Where does this woman compare with Yuyu? Are you blind! I will never accept that woman," she said leaving the room.
"Yuyu" Li Wei didn't want to hear a word against Rushi.
"I just want to ask you: Why Li Wei? You knew of our engagement still broke my heart" Yuyu said in a soft voice not amusingly rather as an inquiry.
Li We calmed down facing Yuyu's frank words.
"I sincerely apologise Yuyu. I had no say in the engagement. I will always be there for you as a brother but you deserve a person who loves you wholeheartedly." Li Wei's words were genuine and sincere.
'I only need you, Li Wei. You are mine.' Yuyu buried all her anger and resentment deep inside exposing a smile.
"There is no point in crying over spilt milk. Congratulations on your wedding! And Congratulations on your child."
"Thank you." he returned a fake smile.
"Lele is so cute. He resembles you a lot. Especially his smile." Yuyu said.
"Ha! Doesn't it? Rushi never agrees that we resemble each other so much especially tge smile. He is totally my carbon copy." His reaction was much more exaggerated
She saw his first genuine smile more so his laughter.
'Sure Lele is your weakness. Li Wei, I will capture your heart through your child. Fighting!'
