She never wanted to waste a moment or even a thought on those men.

Utmost all them left within a few minutes of the date. So, Dad, this time ordered her to make him stay there for at least an hour. He forced her to attend the date instead of a conference in the US.

Ira was spoiled and willful. She did whatever she wanted. Having already decided not to marry anyone, Ira was stubborn to the end. To show her rebellion against her dad, she deliberately made him wait.
