Jim was looking at him when he mentioned her as his wife so all eyes were thrown at her. Startled at first, but she quickly recomposed herself and managed to make a smile as she gazed back at Jim.

Jim went on. "She could not stand up because she's with our child.. "

Although she was not looking at Giselle, she knew that her friend was not so comfortable to hear it. Soon enough, her phone vibrated and a message notification popped up. As expected, from Giselle.

"Could he hold back a little more? It make my spine creep up!!!"

Jia smiled faintly but was careful enough not to turn her back and look at her. He knew that someone else was more uncomfortable than she was.

Jim's short message was then finished and soon, the ribbon was cut. A loud round of applause was, then, heard!

When Jim got back to his seat beside her, he took Jian from her.

"You must be tired already. Give this fluffy boy to me."
