Right when she was busy reading the feed and smiling to herself, a confident voice rang on her ears. "Xiao Xia, how do I look?" Song Xia lifted her head and what she saw next shocked her..
She saw Tang Yan donned in a bright red suit which made her eyes nearly go blind. Moreover if this overly-bright colored suit was worn by others, it would look rather bizarre and they wouldn't be able to pull off the color like him. The suit complimented his personality and style; it looked like it was personally customized just for him.
Tang Yan's smile broadened when he felt her gaze on him. 'Aren't I so handsome? See, now you can't even take your eyes off me!' When he came outside of the dressing room, everyone in the shop turned their heads and looked at him with adoration and admiration. The shop assistants also coquettishly looked at him and wondered which girl would be lucky enough to get this stunning man.
However, he hadn't felt anything; only indifference plastered in his face as he was used to people looking up to him. But when he saw Song Xia's look of astonishment and awe, he felt as if
Even though Song Xia found him quite handsome and charming; the main point was something else. "You look good in this, I admit..." Tang Yan gave her a knowing smile with an expression that read 'I know right'. "...But I'm not buying it for you; it's for Ellen. As far as I know, Ellen always wears dark colors; this bright colored suit looks kind of unsuitable for him.."
When Tang Yan heard that, his face instantly darkened. The manager overheard their conversation from the side and was speechless (she understands Chinese). At first, she along with her co-workers in the mall had thought that they were a couple as they were informed about them from another shop. If they were indeed a couple, why the hell would the girl buy another man a gift when she was shopping with her boyfriend?
"Go change." Song Xia leaned against the sofa as she waved her hands. Tang Yan furiously exclaimed, "Why should I change?" Song Xia looked at him as if he was a fool. "I already told you that Ellen won't like it so we won't buy it." Tang Yan gritted his teeth and blurted out, "What if he likes it?! How can you be so sure? Am I his best friend or are you?! I know what he likes because we've basically grown up together, okay! I've known him for more than 20 years!"
Song Xia suspiciously glanced at him while playing with her phone. "Even if you know him more than me, it's a matter-of-fact that Ellen hasn't ever worn these types of bright colored clothes! Why would you choose such a bright red suit?!" Tang Yan hastily said, "Whatever! I know him the best; l'm telling you, red is... yes, red is his favorite color! He absolutely loves red color!"
A hint of disappointment flashed in his eyes. This girl; he accompanied her all day long but at last, the one who was rewarded wasn't him but that guy, Ellen. 'Could it be because she met him before me?' He smiled bitterly in his heart. Hence, he decided to trick her into buying something that Ellen would never wear. So that she wouldn't buy him anything next time. Though he felt it was too petty, he still did it.
The manager looked at the both of them and wanted to say something but no words came out of her mouth...

When the both of them entered their car, all they saw was the car was stuffed with endless shopping bags and clothes that they had bought and sighed at the same time.
At the same time, right after they left the mall, a middle-aged lady who looked like she was in her early thirties, entered the shopping mall. Clad in a bright red dress, she turned to the man behind her, "Butler Han, you say, where is my dear son right now?" The butler respectfully replied while looking at the tracking app, "Madam, Young Master is currently heading towards XXX area. Should we follow him?"
He didn't understand why his Madam suddenly ordered him to trace Young Master down and even came here after finding out that he was here...
The lady shook her head and smiled elegantly, "No, I want to know what he did after coming here." Butler Han didn't know whether to laugh or cry. 'Madam, shouldn't you know what a person does after coming to a shopping mall?! Your words sound like he came here to do something illegal and you came to catch him red-handed?!'
As the lady came way too high-profile with bodyguards following around her, the Director was alarmed and investigated her. In the end, he was shocked to find out that she was the renowned Madam of the prominent Tang Family from China, one of the most prestigious families worldwide. He personally came to greet her and invited her at a VIP room. He hastily asked, "Distinguished Miss Hanna! What brought you here in my small shopping mall?"
The lady, named Hanna, calmly sipped her tea before replying with a smile, "My son."
