章節 62: Selistia's Brother

Zio just waited and watched as he saw people walking in front of him, time passed and more people walked in front of his vision.

Selistia watched Zio in surprise and wondered how could he stay so still for such a long time, it was as if he is a statue, he hasn't moved a single muscle in his body, the only thing that is moving is his eyes and eyelids, if not Selistia would have through that Zio had gone into shock from the peer pressure of attending the academy.

'What a weird guy'

She thought and looked around as well, while Zio was focused on things that were around him, he was also learning the fundaments of the three skills that he got from Tempest, he still has not mastered them and they are quite hard to understand as well.

Selistia on the other hand continued to study her surroundings and see what her seniors are doing around here, she noticed that some of them are selling their old stuff to the new students claiming that it will be helpful for them.

Some bought it and some didn't, she also noticed them giving out fliers but she didn't know the content of these fliers, she noticed that all fliers were not the same as well, it was as if they are trying to recruit new students into their teams.

But they had to be careful about who they were recruiting because they don't know who is going to pass and who isn't, that's why they were approaching every new student and asking if they would pass or not.

If they got a direct truthful yes, then they would try to butter up the new student, while the ones who were doubtful about their chances were still given some encouragement but they had no hope for these people.

Selistia wondered if they would be approached as well but then she realized that they are sitting at the back, the place where people who know they are going to fail, sit. So there is no way they would be approached by the seniors.

She sighed and continued to study her environment.

After an hour, the event finally started, Selistia was bored out of her mind by sitting here, she would occasionally ask Zio some questions but he would have only one-word answers for them, soon she finally gave up.

She wondered if she did a mistake sitting here because if she had sat in the front, people would have approached her and made her feel less bored by talking to her but what she is experiencing is completely opposite.

She looked at Zio and saw he was still in the same position, he was impressed by his patients and the ability to just sit and do nothing.

'I think that is the specialty of a hunter, I heard that hunters sit patiently on a stop for hours and wait for their prey to arrive'

She thought and looked at the podium which is now filled with a lot of people, some are students while some are teacher, she also noticed three people were sitting on chairs while others just stood there next to them.

She has already seen one of them, it's the vice-principal and he is sitting on the right of an old man with a very long white beard, long white hair, and very bushy white eyebrows that covered his eyes completely, he is also wearing a very loose red cloth.

'He must be the principal'

She thought, she then looked on the left side of the old man and saw a very beautiful woman sitting beside him, she had long red hair, big eyes, slim face, big breast, and a curvy figure, and with the dress, she was wearing, her body's feature was clearly on display, she is wearing a long one-piece dress with flower patters all over it, there was nothing covering her shoulders and the top half of her breast is clearly visible, there are also long cuts on the side of her dress revealing her long soft legs as well.

Selistia clicked her tongue as she saw how this woman clearly wanted to show off her body, Selistia didn't like these kinds of women, she looked at Zio to see if he is looking at her but what she saw made her smile, he had already closed his eyes and didn't give a shit about what was happening on the podium.

'He really is different'

She thought and looked at the podium and wondered who this woman is, just by her sitting next to the principle, it was clear that she was someone who has a lot of influence in the Academy.

Since she couldn't figure it out she decided to wait and see if they announce her name and position in the academy.

Soon the event started as a very handsome young man walked up the podium.

As soon as this young man walked up, people started to scream in excitement, especially the girls as they went mad over him.

'Looks like big brother is still very famous"

Selistia thought as she looked at the young man on the podium, yes it was none other than her big brother.

"Kyyaaaaa~~~ It's 4th-year student James Fernandes"

The girls shouted.

"Sir James, we love you" "Sir James please marry me" "Sir James I want to have your babies"

The girls shouted out there of their lungs so that their message could be heard by James, James, on the other hand, didn't say anything and just smiled at the crowd and walked towards the front of the podium which caused another burst of cheers, the men were jealous while the women were calling out each other for acting like a bitch.

Zio who was actually concentrating on his skills was suddenly jolted out of his focus due to the sudden commotion.

"What the? What happened?"

He opened his eyes and looked around to see many people on their feet screaming with joy at the person standing on the podium.

Zio looked at this young man and suddenly noticed something, this guy had a very familiar face, he then looked at Selistia and back at the young man.

"Hehe, are you surprised? That is my big brother, are you jealous of how famous he is?"

She asked and teased Zio.

Zio looked at her in confusion.

"Is it that impressive to be famous?"

He asked as he had no idea what it really meant.

"Of course it is, if you are famous, things become very easy, many people would want to be your friends, many girls will try to talk to you and ask you out and all kind of good stuff that comes with it"

She said.

"Then I would never want to become famous, it sounds like too much work"

Zio said and closed his eyes again to focus on his skill training in his mind, Selistia just looked at him and sighed, she somewhat expected this answer from Zio after seeing his ways and behavior till now, he really didn't give one shit about society and its norms because he was foreign to it.

He was a hunter and he lived by the code of the forest, the fittest ones are the survivors.
