章節 28: Chapter 27
I go to the dance and I search for the girls. I don't see them because there's a lot of people in the party already, but I keep searching. After some time without results I decide to go out of the dance and search in other parts of the house. There are some couples here and there kissing and all that good stuff. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Im ready to give up and try the next time I see them, but I finally find the three of them in a little garden of the house. They seem to be talking about something so I get closer and hopefully hear it.
I hear them talking about the game, and it's something important.
Mustang says —have you heard it? The news about the new game—. Artemis and Arwen nod.
Mustang keeps saying— what do you think it means?— both girls look pensive and Arwen then says — We'll probably appear in a desolate area and we'll have to find the way to the cities or something like that.— Now the others nod and she keeps saying — I'm concerned if it's that way. We don't know how hard is going to be to reach the towns or cities, and without them organizing guilds is really hard. Even more for us big guilds.
I'm surprised and excited to hear this. They got news about the game and that's always helpful.
Now I know that the start is going to be some kind of survival game until players discover other things. Even though I'm happy to hear some news, I'm sad because thats the only news they have.
I also don't know what planet or company is in charge of the games so I decide to ask them about it.
I enter the garden and go. When they see me they glance at each other and start laughing.
I get near and smiling in the most charming way I know I ask — Who creates the games now a days?
The three stop laughing and say with a serious face — We can't tell you.
I then say to them in the same serious way — Then come and eat some of those cookies and if that's not enough, let me cook you something.
They laugh once again and say — Alright, everyone here knows it anyway. I'll do no harm letting you know. If you cook something for us we won't mind eating it though.—
Im happy for the first part, but I didn't see the second one coming. Shit, I don't know how to cook!
First thing I'm going to do after the party is start learning though.
While I think this, Arwen says — All the main games created since we got out of earth had been created by only one company. It's not right to call it a company because is a clan. The clan name is D clan. They are really mysterious because no one knows where they are or who they are, but they've done all the games since a long time. They always do a great job and no one complains about it. They are completely impartial and they try to not benefit anyone in particular. Powerful groups and families only get a little advantage over normal people, as the information you just heard by the way.
I feel a bit embarrassed because they caught me spying but I don't really care. I'm surprised about the D clan because what she said means that they decide everything about the game and I really don't know how they manage to create great games always. I decide I'll ask them more questions about this mysterious clan and see if I can get more information.
