章節 19: Whispering Wisp Movement
Well, of course, it wasn't successful in the first try! This was such a complicated technique that normal people will ever reach 1/10th of the technique even if they comprehended it their entire lives.
From his first attempt, he learned that the person would need to have an extremely strong body and extremely high comprehension. Having a high body strength would mean that Arthur could convert his raw power to speed and increase his movement and effectivity of the techniques related to the body.
After comprehending for an hour, Arthur tried it once again. This time there was less unnecessary movements and Arthur was faster but this was still not enough for the Whispering Wisp Technique. This time there were still a few minuscule movements that were unnecessary, these irregularities in his movement caused his speed and illusions to be less effective.
Arthur needed to fully remove all the unnecessary movements so that this technique would be executed smooth and perfectly. Even one motion that was out of sync will cause the technique to be useless.
While comprehending, the sun has already set and the moon replaced the bright star.
To perfect his movements, Arthur did not try to practice in such a weak state and in such an unsatisfactory environment. Arthur decided to call it a day.
The next morning, the sun had already risen and the forest that Arthur resided in was dead silent. There were no animals nearby the vicinity ever since Ken's found this place.
A gush of wind met Arthur face waking him up, he was drowsy from waking up from slumber. Upon rubbing his eyes, Arthur did not hesitate to get up and to start practicing once again. The drowsiness from earlier was completely gone.
In that place, Ken was just sitting in his chair looking at Arthur without saying a word. Arthur felt his stare the entire time but it did not affect him.
Joseph, on the other hand, was part of the Adventurer's Guild: Bronze and he was one of their top members. He went back in order to settle things with Rob and the guild.
Looking for a training dummy in the open area, Arthur then practiced his movements to perfect it without a single mistake. The only way he would know if he truly got it was if he was able to create an afterimage behind, make a sound nearby and then, go back to where he was.
This was a lot harder than it sounded.

In the city, Joseph first went to the guild to finalize his plan on the upcoming war with Rebecca. The chat was brief as to not make anyone suspicious of their plans.
After receiving an essential item from Rebecca, Joseph went to Rob's store to check out what was happening there. Along the way, Joseph was feeling good because Arthur was going to learn Whispering Wisp Movement, a technique that even let his dad fight on equal terms against someone at Intent Trace Rank.
To celebrate the occasion, he bought groceries for the girls and something as a gift for Arthur.
Upon arriving, Joseph was greeted with the 5 slave girls but their cold, dead eyes were now filled with a warm, gentle glare. Their happiness was immeasurable as they will finally be able to be free at the end of the week.
The 5 girls were extremely happy as it was just in the morning, no one, even Rob, knew that his research was taken and everything he researched was destroyed.
When Joseph brought over the groceries, a loud scream came from inside Rob's store. Without a moment's hesitation, Joseph dropped the groceries on the ground and rushed in the store fearing for Rob as he was the one who screamed.
Multiple scenarios played out in Joseph's mind, which the majority of them were extremely bad situations. Right now Joseph needed to ensure that Rob was safe, nothing else mattered at the moment as his best friend's life might be in danger.
With a loud slam of the door, Joseph entered the room nearly breaking the door due to his extreme strength. He frantically looked around the room and his eyes laid down on Rob with a sorrowful face.
"Its... all... gone..." Just three words made Joseph's heart sink. Everything Rob worked hard for, the countless sleepless nights and the people he could have had saved was what made Joseph's heart sink and made his expression solemn.
Just three words made the 5 girls who heard this break down as if they were in despair once more. Two of the girls ran out of the room with tears flowing down their faces, the worst kind of despair was losing all your hope and trust in a single moment. The bigger one had on his/her hopes and dreams on a situation, the more painful it would be to lose it in a single moment.
The other three girls just stood there motionlessly, "Y-You could still make it again... right, Sir Rob?" One of the girls who was just standing spoke up, her voice was cold but one could understand the melancholy behind it.
It took everything for Rob to be truly honest towards them, "I am sorry but... I will have to start from scratch. They destroyed everything, my notes, my experiments, the writings and took the scroll where everything was finalized." When these girls heard what Rob said the despair crept upon them once again.
Hope and despair, polar opposites yet are so linked together. Joseph calmed himself down trying to suppress the fury within his heart. It took a considerably long time for Joseph to calm down from this situation.
Now with a calm demeanor, Joseph thought of possible ways to get back the scroll. Since he didn't have a face, name nor clue relating to who stole from Rob, he wasn't completely in the dark since he had a theory.
The only people who knew about this were the Rob, the girls, Arthur, Rebecca and himself. It could mean that one of these was a traitor or another possibility would that the guilds sent their own specialized spies.
Another possibility would be the Hidden Bandit Guild, Joseph thought of this situation: The stalker he to the store probably had a tracking device on him and then raided this place. According to this situation, they were just unlucky.
There was even another situation where a greater power is involved. Then another one where one of the girls was actually a spy. These kinds of situations appeared within Joseph's mind. He eliminated everything that had related to the people he knew because with his Will of Status no spy could remain hidden.
Suddenly, amidst all the scenarios he could come up with the thought of this situation and sighed, "If this was what happened then... this war will be a deciding factor for this land." A chill was sent down Joseph's back when he realized this.
Joseph went out of the store and met up once again with Arthur. Now, Arthur was half a step into the first step of the technique which was creating a simple sound illusion. All of Arthur's efforts as of now were just simple required practices to comprehend this technique.
This technique was specialized for those at Intent Rank to reach the level of Ken's mastery. Right now, Arthur was starting to comprehend the first half of a step. This was difficult for even those at Wisp Rank. Based on comprehension, Arthur surppassed every single one at the same rank.
