章節 136: Eternal Sleep (3)
The blue dragon spent many days doing errands for Petina using his creature contacts, she didn't want to appear in front of anyone. Her genes were no one's that most humans carried. They would find her suspicious and question her among the authorities and she didn't want to hurt anyone. "Your majesty.. how are we supposed the find support to fight your brother when we can't even show our faces to most creatures to propose our cause."
"As a dragon you're known for being in a cave and with your Dragon Elder. Do you think people will take you lightly if you appear next to someone with odd features over the Dragon Elder?" As much as she liked this blue dragon's bravery she wouldn't sacrifice his honor like this if she could avoid it. "We must wait until my brother makes his move with the dead army. Then and only then may we make an entrance, protecting the people that need us."
The blue dragon nodded. When he first found out about the Dragon Elder's plans to side with Kizuato, he was mortified. The Dragon Elder wanted revenge on Leena because she was like Petina, she held the ability to use Yùlóng, a gift from the Dragon Elder's mother who was killed by Petina.
Petina put her in an eternal sleep, she had her face her reality of what she had done when she helped Kizuato but instead of fighting to live she decided that she didn't want to and died. Ever since then Rhea had blamed Petina for her mother's death.
"You said that the one with the cursed soul is by Leena's side... Why?" The blue dragon wasn't so sure himself. Dracon never harmed her even when they first met, she was very similar to Petina in many ways but he never once tried to kill her.
"He must not feel any danger from her, they might know each other. I'm not too sure, my lady." Petina nodded. As long as he didn't harm her until she returns everything will be okay, even though as far as she could tell Leena was still asleep even though she overcame everything given to her in the eternal sleep challenges.
"Come Chen, we must find Rhea." The blue dragon, Chen, followed behind Petina as she created a portal into another dimension and stepped into it.

This was the darkness I had seen all this time. In my dreams this darkness would always appear taking the people that others loved, taking their voices, their smile, their ability to live. I couldn't help, every time I saw this happen I tried but I could never do anything.
I curled my legs into my body and remained in fetal position. I let the darkness cover me, coat me, become a part of me. When did it happen? I don't know, but there was a part of me that I didn't want to recognize anymore. I was tired of being weak, tired of losing the people I love because I couldn't protect them. Mom, dad, Izak and Amira. Amira lost herself because of her own jealousy, if only I was old enough to know the difference then I would have been able to reach out when she needed help. Izak... If only I could have prevented when happened everything would be better today.
Peace... of mind, body, soul and the from the world. That is what I was searching for when I left Botus and instead I'm facing things that hurt more and more each day. Izak/Linx's face came to my mind and I tried so hard not to cry. Other than my parents and the good Amira, Izak cared about me more than his own life. Linx was different, but I can't make the same mistake with him.
This darkness, this loneliness was a place she felt belonged in. Even though there was nothing but sadness, this was peace and for just a while longer I wanted to enjoy it.

YoliC It's hard sometimes... we want things to work out and be great but sometimes you need a break and so just soak yourself in all the failures to really push forward.
