章節 12: CHAPTER-11 FAIRY'S PAST
Fin was meditating inside the dimensional room with a spirit stone .Unknowingly the purple crystal inside his brain was greedily absorbing the essence of the spirit stone like it had finally found the food it was looking for.
Fin could feel strange cooling sensation seeping inside his brain.He didn't know that the spirit stone which was supposed to last for 4 hours was only lasted for 2 hours. His mind initially was like a chaotic sea but after while it calmed a little.He knew he was long way to go from controlling the sea in his imagination as he wants .
According to the Fairy ,spirit stones came in so many elements for example fire ,water ,wind etc .The spirit stone in his procession were all water type .So when he tried to control his mind he would automatically imagine himself a sea .
When one could reach 15% of his brain capacity ,he could control the sea in his imagination however he wanted and use the same principle to control the water elements in the environment.
When one could reach 20% of the brain's capacity, he could play with water elements like its his own toys and create weapons .
Like that when he could reach 50% he could create water soldiers that could topple a kingdom .Fairy stopped at 50% and told sternly that he should stop daydreaming.
Like Fairy said he kept on dreaming whenever he had time in different scenarios like he would be commanding an army of water soldiers and travelling the entire world .He knew he was long way to go from 10% to 50% but he knew if he worked hard he could reach it one day without a doubt.
Along with his mental training ,he was told to do sufficient exercise to keep his body healthy.Even though he was not following the path of the body training ,Fairy told if one wants to reach the apex ,one needs to have sufficient strength in his body .
So he started spending 10% of the day to exercises that could improve his physic .Remaining 90% of the day he divided into meditation, reading books ,skill training , spending time with family and Eva.
Fairy assigned Spider king as his physic training mentor .Spider king would monitor Fin's moments and give feedback time to time.Fairy said that the mysterious Spider king was from an ancient clan which had genes of excellent body and defense power .Its web could change after each evolution .
Spider king also practiced his family techniques which improved its physical power everyday . According to the Spider king ,when he undergo his next evolution ,probably in the next 5 years ,he would be able cast a web of steel that could trap any beast like python forever .Fin was surprised and happy to have a beast like Spider king .At least he could depend on Spider king till he became strong .
Fin went to the skill training hall for the first time . He wanted to check it out. As he entered the hall ,he found a receptionist inside the hall sitting lazily. She was a beautiful middle aged lady .She looked like she has gone through everything in her life and nothing would ever interest her whatsoever.
He asked "Hello lady ,can I go into the training room ?"
Middle aged Lady lazily rolled her eyes from the computer and looked at him .She didn't bother to chat non sense and said directly "2 points for 1 hour ,if you don't have, don't bother me again".
Fin understood that the lady must be in really bad mood .So he didn't argue with her ,he simply produced a card and placed it on the counter. Lady swiped it and gave a token . "Your time starts the moment you enter the room"
Fin grabbed the token and his card and went directly to the room near the counter .He inserted the token inside a machine .Door unlocked automatically and he went inside curiously .To his surprise he found that there was nothing inside the room except a box .There was a sign on top of it "Please enter"
He went inside the box which could exactly fit a normal human. Door locked itself and the entire box started shaking .
BOOM
He was transported to another dimension . He opened his eyes and saw a pond .Of all the things he imagined he didn't except a pond . He could have asked any senior, before coming to the training hall but he wanted it to be a surprise but he really got a surprise in a different way .
Fairy told scornfully "What did you expect? Don't forget the requirement of your next gate that only needs activation of your skill .So it is within my expectation . This evolution pond is used in the initial years to activate ones skill. There are medicinal properties in such pools ."
Fin understood that its not a simple pond . Spider king on his left shoulder quickly jumped into the pond without any thought . It sensed spiritual energy inside the pond that could speed up its evolution process. Fin also quickly jumped into the pond and started meditating . He already activated his skill but he wanted to experience the pond once.
Fairy stood there thinking her past .When she was a child she was loved by everyone ,being the princess there was nothing she could not get if she asked . Fairy land was peaceful place with immortals swarming like ants .She used to train in the royal place where a pond was specially created for her .
She was hailed as a genius when she activated her skill within 2 and half years and her parents loved their one and only daughter so much, which made her think that her life was perfect .
But suddenly one day everything changed .Immortal humans somehow discovered a method to enter the Fairy land and waged a bitter war . Fairy was just 10 years old at that time so she couldn't remember the force behind the humans .She only knew they wore black masks.
Her parents died in the battle and her Fairy land was devastated .Fairies scattered from the Fairy land when they realized they couldn't win the war .Humans after capturing the Fairy land ,made Fairies as their slaves .
Before her parents died they stored all their treasures inside a ring and gave it to their daughter .They secretly transported her to an unknown location . They wanted to keep a hope for Fairy land so that one day Fairies could take back their land from the despicable humans.
Fairy then didn't know what to do and was immersed in sorrow and grief .She had lost her kingdom and parents and she was powerless to change anything . She encountered her master at that time who was also a human but was very kind .He took her to different parts of the world ,trained her and led her griefs to turn into determination to take her revenge.
Unfortunately she was discovered by those masked humans and her master was killed .She somehow managed to escape with her master's inheritance . She understood where ever she went trouble would eventually follow .So she locked herself in an unknown island and started to improve her power . After 1000s of year ,she felt her power had reached certain stage and decided to go and take back the Fairyland .At that time she encountered Fin .
She found perfect target for repaying her master and also collect information on the outside world . She didn't know anything about the outside world for 1000s of year and decided to wait until Fin reached immortality .Moreover she wanted a safe place to stay and unite her scattered fellow Fairies.
While Fairy was thinking her past ,Fin and the Spider king were immersed in their meditation.Fin could feel his spiritual energy entering every pores of his body .The purple crystal was attracting all the spiritual energy into his body .After 1 hour he came out of the pool but left Spider king there only .Since no one would find out his presence ,he could use the pool to evolve early .
Everyday for the past 10 days ,Fin visited the training hall one hour a day. Fairy didn't came after first day .Spider king on the other hand increased his strength significantly .Fin's points exhausted so Fin has no choice but to stop going to the pool and that time he took back Spider king since he didn't know when he would come back.
Fin didn't bother to accumulate points after 10 days because he found out that pool's spiritual energy had decreased considerably and it was not helping him any more .If middle aged woman who was in charge of the pond found that the spiritual energy had been depleted ,she would have laughed harder because according to her it was impossible.
Once a year the institute would pour spiritual medicine to the pond and it would last till the next year .One couldn't blame the middle aged lady because she couldn't have guessed even if she was beaten to death that there was a purple crystal inside Fin's brain which was devouring all kinds of energy .On top of it there was Spider king who trained crazily day and night for the past ten days.
Fin instructed Eva the first day itself about the pond .She also utilized the spiritual energy before it got depleted .Fin wanted to secretly tell her all his secrets but Fairy instructed him not to because it would bring more harm than good to her. Unless he became powerful enough to protect her ,he couldn't tell her even if he wanted to.
Fin didn't bother to go to the library since he had hundreds of book in his inheritance. So he concentrated all his time and energy to training inside the dimensional room. He attended important classes in the institute with Eva to keep his grades steady .
To measure his progress Fairy came up with a simple procedure "If your brain capacity improves ,you could read many books in less time and your vision and other sensory abilities would improve along with it . Lets say an average book is 250 page .In the beginning it would take you 3 to four hours to read a single book but gradually the time would decrease .When you reach 15% of your brain potential ,you could read it within 2 hours .Just imagine what would happen if it reaches 50% or 100%"
Fin gulped down his saliva while hearing this . He was already feeling the change she mentioned but didn't know that it would reach that level. His enthusiasm increased many fold.
