Today, October 10th, Chojusen was practicing his Body Refinement Skill the same way he had been doing for the last month. He was currently taking a break and playing with his older brother Choji, in their little cradle, when suddenly, he sensed a large change in the environment.
After this month of training with the Body Refinement Skill, the level of that skill had made considerable progress. Because Training with Body Refinement, also improved Energy/Chakra Manipulation, his Energy Manipulation skill had also reached inconceivable bounds for child less than a year old.
At his level, Chojusen could easily sense how the energy moved in the environment and while he couldn't exactly see how the elemental particles moved around individually, he could easily tell when a giant clump of energy particles suddenly appeared or disappeared.
As Chojusen was playing with his older brother, off in the distance, about fifteen or so kilometers away from Chojusen's position, a large displacement of space energy occurred. This event was easily discovered by Chojusen and he became curious.
Since the moment he could sense the different kinds of energy that existed, Chojusen would often detect fluctuations in the various elements. For some reason fire type energy was commonly used in his village, and had the largest amount of activity. After fire, the elements of water, earth, wind, and lightning were all used as well, but less often.
Chojusen had never detected a change in space energy before today, so he instantly made his mind to go see what was going on. He thought that if he missed this chance, he wouldn't be able to see another space user like himself for a long time.
But as this thought crossed his mind, he realized once again that he was just an infant. Sure, the problem of travelling could easily be resolved as he had Teleportation, but it would attract a lot of attention if a baby just appeared out of thin air.
Chojusen thought about this for a little while before realizing that he could just hide in the void. If he could teleport by switching places with space energy particles, why can't he just hide in a layer of space particles to become invisible?
Chojusen immediately started imagining how this skill would work. The system only notified him of the creation of the skill, after he momentarily became translucent.
[Host has learned the Skill: Void Concealment
Void Concealment (Rank C | 0/100): By manifesting a layer of space particles, the user can effectively hide in plain sight. As proficiency of this skill increases, so too does the effectiveness of the concealment. Current Effectiveness: The user can become translucent.]
Chojusen was very pleased with the skill that he had thought up, and immediately go to work on increasing its level. With his Energy Manipulation Skill being so high, it was very easy for Chojusen to increase both his Void Concealment and Teleportation; they were after all still unevolved skills.
It took Chojusen an hour to get both of the skills to a satisfying 80% completion to the next advancement. He only stopped training at that point as the skills were good enough for him to complete the goal of visiting the space energy user.
Chojusen took a quick look at his newly improved skills.
[Void Concealment (Rank B | 80/100): By manifesting a thick layer of space particles, the user can hide both his physical body and his aura. As proficiency of this skill increases, so too does the effectiveness of the concealment. Current Effectiveness: The user becomes completely invisible and user's aura dissipates almost entirely.
Teleportation (Rank B | 80/100): The user uses space energy to move by instantaneous displacement. The greater the proficiency the larger the range. Current Range: 20 kilometers.]
Everything within Chojusen's range of teleportation could be seen clearly if he focused his senses, so Chojusen didn't think he would get caught if he teleported away from his crib; as long as he kept track of the room he was supposed to in, while he was spying on the space energy user.
With that sorted out, Chojusen used his Void Concealment skill and teleported a couple feet away from the where he detected the space fluctuation earlier. Chojusen appeared in a strange-looking room on the side of a mountain. Currently, there were some people in the room, apparently preparing some sort of ritual which needed a bed.
Chojusen looked around the room and saw that in the corner of the room, there were a bunch of space particles swirling around. To people not proficient in space energy manipulation, the swirling space would not look any different than regular space, but Chojusen could clearly see the form of the space dancing around in circles. He thought it was a bit odd for space energy to be behaving so orderly and decided to try probing it.
The first thing Chojusen did, was send a bit of his own space energy into the swirling space. Nothing happened, which led Chojusen to concluded that the space was not being absorbed. For his second test, Chojusen tried to move the space that was swirling about. Again, nothing happened, which meant that the space was being controlled actively by someone.
Chojusen thought long and hard about why someone would want to swirl space energy, but nothing he thought of made reasonable sense. Alas, this swirling space had seriously caught his attention. Chojusen decided that he would continue studying the space until either it disappeared, or he needed to return to his crib.
Chojusen discovered the swirling space at around three in the afternoon. He had to return to his crib by six, because his nanny was approaching his crib; it was time for him to eat again. Even though Chojusen left the swirling space, he kept an eye on it to see if anything odd happened.
After the nanny fed Chojusen and his brother, she left them alone once more so that they would return to their sleep. The only notable event that happened during the time that Chojusen was away from the swirling space, was that a couple more people had entered the mountain side room. The newcomers were apparently checking the preparations made earlier during the day.
Now that no one was in Chojusen's room, except for his twin brother, Chojusen teleported back to the swirling space. He kept studying it, but still couldn't learn anything about it. As he was about to give up on trying to find out why this strange phenomenon was occurring he thought about asking if the system knew what was happening.
He said "Hey system do you know what that strange swirling space is?"
[It's probably someone spying into this room from either a far away distance, or from their own personal dimension.]
"Personal Dimension?"
[A person with exceptional mastery over space energy can create their own personal spaces or dimensions. Having talent with space energy is very rare in this world, so it's highly unlikely that someone reached high enough mastery to create their own dimension. It's far more probable that someone used an ocular power to create a personal dimension.]
"Ocular power? Are you saying that there are people in this world that have powers that come from their eyes?"
[Precisely.]
"Well, if it is a personal dimension, is there anyway that I can enter it?" Chojusen wanted to see what a personal dimension looked like from the inside, so he was very eager to find out if he could enter another person's personal dimension.
[It depends on the space mastery of the dimension's master. If your level of mastery over space is higher than the dimension's master, you could enter the personal dimension without alerting the dimension's master.
By the way, your space mastery is definitely higher than whoever is behind that swirling space. If you weren't, there's no way you would still be undetected. And before you ask, you can forcefully enter another person's personal dimension by teleporting into the dimension's origin, or the point in space that the space energy is swirling around.]
Chojusen and the System were having this conversation through Chojusen's soul; not a single word was heard by those in the room. Chojusen did as the system said and teleported into the point where space was swirling; if it was another person's personal dimension, he would enter the dimension, if not, then he would just teleport to that point of space normally and nothing exciting would happen.
Fortunately, it really was a personal dimension, unfortunately though, it was not as exciting as Chojusen hoped it would be. The personal dimension could be described as depression personified; it was black and dreary everywhere. Not a single speck of life could be seen for miles, except for a man wearing clothes that matched at atmosphere of his dimension.
The man wore a black robe that covered all parts of his body, including the back of his head with a hood. However, he also wore a tiger striped mask which, when juxtaposed with the man's getup and dimension, seemed completely out of place.
Apparently, Chojusen had entered the man's personal dimension at a bad time, as the man in question was currently mumbling horrifying curses at the people he spied on, outside his dimension.
The masked man said "Today's the day all these hypocrites will face my wrath! All that nonsense about the will of fire and all they amount to are traitors that kill their friends! Hahahaha, if only that idiot Kakashi knew that the Hidden Leaf's destruction came about because of his loose tongue, I wonder what kind of face he'd make. I'm sure It'd be priceless..."
Chojusen kept listening to the masked man's relentless insults and managed to piece together that he was an enemy of the village, that was planning on doing something to destroy the village later tonight. At first Chojusen was a bit scared; he wasn't exactly a fighter and all this murderous intention leaking out of the masked man was very intimidating.
However, this feeling was more or less lost as Chojusen slowly understood that the masked man couldn't do anything to him. His space mastery was higher, making him invisible, and with teleportation, Chojusen could just run away if the situation became dire.
The masked man continued "Now all I have to do is wait for that harlot Kushina to give birth to that worthless teacher of mine, Minato's, child. At that time, the Nine-Tails' seal will be at its weakest and not only will I have it under my control and force it to wipe out the village, it will also be a vital part of the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan..."
If only this masked idiot knew that his loose tongue became the reason his plan would fail miserably later today…
