"Have you rested well?" Chen Linyun asked the newly woken sleeping beauty lying on his chest. He was smiling.

"Mhmmm.." Xue Jinxu grunted in agreement. She was a little disappointed that Chen Linyun did not allow her to help him. She could not grasp his idea of doing it all by himself. He's not a teamplayer. Didn't he know that anywhere in the globe any work will be done a lot sooner if more hands contribute? Most probably his male ego was acting up again.

Her internal complaining was cut short when he heard him say something.

"Do you want to go out with me, say, on a date?" Chen Linyun was gazing at her face, eagerly waiting for her reactions.

The lady's ears would have clapped if it could. Her brows arched. "Pardon?" She turned her full attention to him.

"Xue Jinxu, do you want to go out on a date with me this afternoon?" Chen Linyun repeated patiently and nervously, while keeping his gentle gaze on her face.
