lifeless, silent
why restlessness
points towards you
when your feelings
are long gone
It is them
who mourn
late at your funeral
to show you love
when you are gone
fade as white
and obscure grey

Hold still for a while
let the breeze
that rush with longing
feel your breath
and retain
your fragrance
on the arch
of every finger
so when the world
may sleep a season
I could feel
soft caress of you
O! autumn
so hold still
for a while
don't rush to greet
the winter soon...

Slow autumn evenings
dead leaves
gripping the feet
of rushing youth
and telling
the story of
their downfall
cold streets
heard it all!
