章節 52: He bit me!

He asked himself the same question several times. With light footsteps, he stepped forward to approach the bed. He slowly sat on the edge of the bed, afraid of waking her up.

Staring at her, he slowly studied every inch of her face making him realize how charming she was even in her sleep.

His gaze traveled from her thick and long eyelashes that covered part of the skin below her eyes, down to her high nose, her jade-like skin which was as white as snow and pinkish cheek.

Until his eyes fell on the cut on Yu Yan's cherry red lips. Looking at her luscious lips, anyone would be tempted to take a bite.

Staring at it, the unknown feeling from earlier that night started to emerge on his body again. His blood began to boil and his throat began to feel dry. There was a strong feeling of thirst like he had not drank water for a year.

Unfortunately, this time, he failed to stop the urge from his body and subconsciously bent down. He slowly lowered his face towards Yu Yan's while he kept looking at her irresistible lips.

As he got closer to her face, he can smell her sweet breath that made his urge more uncontrollable but the scent of Yu Yan's blood made it worst.

His soft hot lips began to touch Yu Yan's lips. With his uncontrollable craving, he slowly opened his mouth and gently bit her lower lip. Bringing the tip of his tongue to touch the wound and taste Yu Yan's blood savoring its taste in his mouth.

Feeling the pain on her lips, Yu Yan wrinkled her brows, her eyelashes began to flutter and she slowly opened her sleepy eyes. With her vision blurry from sleep, she thought she saw a young man's face a mere inch away from her.

Yu Yan quickly opened her eyes but there was no sign of a silver haired young man in front of her. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and immediately sat on the bed while she scanned her room.

After confirming that there was no one around aside from her, she noticed that the door to the balcony of her room was left open and the curtain was dancing with the wind.

She immediately went down the bed and walked towards the balcony door with her bare white little feet. She held the curtains and slowly peeked out the balcony before finally stepping out. However, it was empty.

Yu Yan stood at the balcony thinking of what she saw when she opened her eyes. She tried to convince herself that she might just be dreaming, but the pain she still felt on her lower lip told her otherwise.

When she touched her lips, Yu Yan felt the pain and there was a speck of stickiness smeared on her fingers. At first, she thought that it was saliva but when she looked at her fingers, she discovered that it was actually blood.

Did I accidentally bite my lip while I was sleeping?

Out of nowhere, the beautiful face of the young man appeared in her mind. Yu Yan quickly shook her head trying to stop the ridiculous thought that he attempted to bite her.

She glanced at the wall clock inside her room and realized that it was already three o'clock in the morning.

A sudden flash on her mind made her think of the silver haired man and the thought of him biting her lips. Her pink cheeks began to burn red like an apple.

"Did he....bite me?...No! That would be my first kiss!" Yu Yan mumbled while shaking her head. "He can't be here, I must be dreaming." she continued to talk to herself silently.

Yu Yan tried to stop thinking about this ridiculous kind of idea. She quickly went back to her room and locked the door to the balcony not knowing that a pair of scarlet eyes is watching her from the tree next to the balcony.
