Rin stared at the stubborn box that just wouldn't open no matter how much she pushed. No cookies, no fish, no snacks... this was terrible. Rin looked out to the lake. There were fish there, but they were underneath the *shiver* water. Finally, her gluttonous nature won and the little magic kitten decided to risk the wet stuff to get a bit to eat.
Making sure her magic was protecting her, Rin walked out onto the surface of the water and stared into its depths. Her eyes went wide. So many fat juicy fish. Now, all she needed to do was catch one. Gathering up some power, Rin formed an arrow made of wind and shot it at one of the nearby fish. The splash hid the results for a moment. When the ripples cleared, Rin frowned. The fish was still there. Only now it was staring back. Obviously mocking her.
She let out a growl and formed more arrows. Not one, not two, not even three, but five wind arrows tore into the lake as Rin decided to wipe that fishy smirk of the inevitable snack's face. The impact and splash caused water cascade all around her, making a curtain of rain. When everything cleared, the fish was gone. She tilted her head as she looked around to find her target.
Unknown to the little huntress, her prey stealthily swam directly underneath and behind her. These were magic fish, and as such had their own means to defend themselves. That was when she felt it. A surge of unfamiliar magic directly under her rear end. Before she could react, a cold blast of water jetted from below and knocked her up into the air.
"REEEOOOW!"
