章節 9: Chapter 9: Ruining the Moment
This new Head Master does not take care of the children. There is only so much the aunties here can do. If I could recommend an auntie to take over.
It woukd be the previous Head Master's wife. Sadly she is here everyday taking care of us. Even now she still grieves for her late husband.
As Yue Guang got up and grab her father's hand. Dad was shocked. That she actually took the lead in making connect with him. She was not shying away from him like how she reacted with her sister.
As she was pulling her Dad towards the door.
"Wait!!"
The Father and daughter pair looked back at the Head Master like he was crazy and ruined their moment.
"You do not have to visit her room."
He got up from his desk and approached them and continued saying.
" Her room is probably already broken down. So their is no reason to visit an empty room, Mr. Yun."
Dad started to look irritated. (If my daughter wants to show me her room. Then thir is no problem. Why are you ruining our moment. She looks so excited to show me her room.)
"It's alright Head Master. I don't mind seeing her room even if it is empty. I can still get an idea and feel on how was been taking care of."
Head Master knww it was of no use to convince him. If he decline anymore it would draw suspicions.
"Of course. I will tag along."
Yue Guang pulled her Dad towards the door.
"Come on Dad, let's go!!"
I was so excited not because I was showing my Dad my room but to get the Head Master in trouble. Before I go with Dad I want to make sure my little "brothers" and "sisters" are taken care of. This Head Master got to go!
I pulled Dad towards the door and left. It took about 5 minutes to get to my room.
As we went towards my room. Anone will realize that my room is isolated from the other children. Yes, I have my room all to myself until one of the little ones sneak in my room at night.
As we enter my room. All of my things was gone. My room look like a room for a 6 year old. The room was once pink. Now it looks like a dark pink and cracks along the wall and paint falling off. The bed had no bed sheets so you can see the 2 springs popping out of the bed, spills on the bed. Even the metal head board for the bed was rusted. The window is broken so it does not closed all the way which made it chilly. Just how I remembered it.
"So what do you think Father." I turned towards him with a smile. The look on his face was horrifying and scared. I think Dad went pale which I don't blame him. Who could live like this. Head Master did not look any better.
All of a sudden a hear a squeak right behind me. There was a mouse looking straight at us like we intruded in his home. Head Master screamed. Oh it is Bob my roommate. Yes I shared my room with a mouse. As long as I stayed on my side of the room he will stay away from my side.
He just stayed their looking at us. Not running away like the normal mouse that see humans. It goes to show that he is not scared one bit.
I looked back at Father. He was mad. I think I see his temple pulsing. Dad turned around and met the eyes of the Head Master. The temperature around Dad dropped.
"What is the meaning of this?!"
His fist was balled up and shaking. The Head Master is so busted. I wanted to laugh but I don't want to ruin the moment. This is going to be fun.
