I have been reading this novel for months since there was only a few chapters back then, but I'm mostly a silent reader (only occasionally give comments) and after 600 chapters, I decided that it's time to give a review. From the long time I decided to follow this novel, I think it's clear that I really love this novel... wait, let me rephrase it. I'm loving this novel so much that I continued to follow it until the newest chapter. 💙 This novel mainly tells about Lu Xinyi and Shen Yi. Their relationships started off pretty quick, yet it was fairly realistic. At the same time, their interaction was humorous, funny, and at the same time, very interesting. However, this novel is not one where the FL can't do anything without the ML. She had her own charms and obviously, she's very mischievous too (Which is clearly stated in the title too 😂). The way she behaved would surely make one laugh a lot. I have a good share of laugh over the time I spend reading this novel. The most important thing in this novel is not just about the couple's relationship, it's FOOD. Yes, there are so many foods here that one will definitely droll at the description. (Though, listening- I mean, reading the way it was made, I'm 100% sure that I won't be able to make it irl. I'll just be a good girl and read the delicious food served while snacking 😂) Lu Xinyi is really a good chef and the way The author has been telling how she cooked, the struggle she faced and also the reason why she picked the dishes, all were very compelling and interesting. I'm not a good chef, so can't say much about it, but I know that I drooled over the food (several times) *cough* Let's move on before I reveal more of my embarrassing moments when I read this novel 😂 (mostly just drooling, though, eh- *cough* move on) Aside from cooking, there are a lot of good face slap too. Lu Xinyi has a lot of enemies, especially her families (I really wish to skin them alive when I read what they did, especially to her cousin... I won't go into detail as it'll be spoiler, but believe me that the description alone would make you wish to enter the book and slice their necks). Just like what Lu Xinyi said, if only she wasn't a young miss from this backstabbing family, she would have danced around and throw a party to celebrate. Anyway, I have talked a bit too much... O.o I'm not even sure anyone will read since it's really... long haha. Overall, it's a good and enjoyable read. Anjee (I hope you don't mind me shortening your name, Author) is really a good author who can catch the reader's attention. I love this novel very much and wish to see it to the end. P.S: for those wondering why the score is not a perfect one (If they decided to read this long review), I docked one star from the stability of updates because there's a period of time when the updates is not stable due to the author's health :( (Wishing you good health always, Author, especially during this time when covid-19 is wrecking the world and make a lot of people sick) Thank you very much for the lovely novel 💙. The majority of the book reads like a cooking class. Its probably a 3rd of the later chapters. The beginning has some hilarious lines & the OTP is cute. But thats a lot of food

Coming into the Book i didnt have high expectations, But the author blee me away straight from the First 10 chapters. it sucked me right in, causing me to finish Up to the current updates in one day. Cant wait for more. ☺️
I haven't read a novel before this😌......this was my first web novel🤩, surprisingly 😅this hadn't made me disappointed on the decision to read web novels......plus it was full of lust😋 of reading so that I can't do anything else but only read🤓 and read🤓....hope to see more like these in future..☺

At first, I thought this is just another same story of a girl being cheated by his boyfriend and bestfriend or stepsister. But I read more, I came to get addicted to it that I have to duplicate my accounts just to get to next chapter!!.

This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. It had excitement and romance and best of all food. The author seemed very well knowledged when it came to the different cuisines they weote about.

I can't stop laughing and feeling giddy. There is no dull chapter in this book. It's very enjoyable to read, and I'm definitely reading for more. I am not fond of reading novels that are not compled hence I look for completed ones and I stumbled into this novel. Of course, the story ahould be interesting for me ro read it. When I read the synopsis, I got interested. The storyline might have been similar with others but the way this wa written makes me anticipate what was coming. It is such a good story that sometimes also affect your emotions, sometimes I felt like crying, frustrated, angry and there were times that I found myself laughing 😊 I love how the Shen brothers and Tian Lingyu and Lu Xinyi bantered with each other and same with Shen Yi and Lu Xinyi. The characters are also well thought of and really gave the right support to the story. I think the characters are just enough. Although there are some minor grammatical and typo errors, I let it pass because I still understand and who is perfect anyway. All in all, I love this story and I am giving it a perfect score, well that is the perfect one 😊👏 The story is not dragging. I find all scenes developed were not too long, just enough to make you understand it and how it is related to the story. There is continuity.
this book will make you hungry every chapter will keep you wanting to read and will have you training pages faster than your hands can move I highly recommend reading this book but definitely have snacks around when you do
After reading the full novel.... it's safe to say that you can have a crash course in cooking while reading this novel.... The growth of female lead is very realistic and interesting.... The interaction between the main couple is funny , cute , romantic and sometimes emotional... The way the story unfolded in the last chapters was quite surprising...one after the other it leaves you in awe at the way the characters are entangled with each other..... it's tells that the world is really small Loved this work..... keep it up author 👍👍👍

I started to read after it was completed so the wait was not a probelm, however it was very expensive. I think i spend over $50 but i loved the sTory!
The book is heart-taking,, the one that you won't want to put aside,, you will fall in lobe with the characters,, reading this book is like watching it on the screen,,the use of language is recommendable. less mistakes were made making the story more interesting
A nice book. I personally don't like the mc though (it's my own opinion. The book is still good and I spent three days binge reading it). 1° I understand that she is gentle and all, but she has to be attacked multiple times before she decides to retaliate. 2° She is extremely selfish. Doesn't want to announce her status as a wife to show that she is someone without her husband, yet she always relies on him. Heck when her cousin died, she refused his help and instead wanted to deal with it on her own to avenger her cousin herself. She let a crazy man and a bitch out there just to satisfy her revenge. I understand if it was the emotions on the spur of the moment but even after weeks, she still took her time and didn't ask help from her husband, yet she calls him and complains when a woman slapped her. Her husband is targeted and she is his weakness, yet she refuses to leave him and stayed by his side not knowing that she will be just his weakness. (I haven't read past that, but I'm pretty sure that she's gonna get caught). She refuses to have bodyguards from her husband as they would be loyal to him only, yet she accepts a group of mercenaries she had met only once. Anyway, I love the book but I hated the mc.

I’ve been on Webnovel for years. This is my second time ever to write a review. I’ll just get to the point, this novel deserves the five stars rating. Unlike most novels the romance starts right away without the main protagonists waiting hundreds of chapters to realize that they “possibly” like the other protagonist. It is like a breath of fresh air. Although it’s part of the stereotypical CEO Genre, it stands on its own and is quite different from other novels whether they are original or translated. The female lead isn’t dense or pointlessly stupid and hopeless. She doesn’t wallow in self pity or wait for the male lead to come save her. Their interactions are shameless and funny, in my opinion they act like most people in real life would. The male lead is interesting as well. I’ll leave it at that, you gotta read about him to understand how glorious he really is. Constructive Criticism: ( This is not meant to insult the author. This story is currently my favorite one on Webnovel.) Although I give the novel five stars. There is one thing I noticed that definitely needs improvement. Whenever I read chapters, I notice multiple times that words are misspelled. Or there will be sentence structure that is incorrect. It’s a consistent problem. If it is one or two typos or “weird” sentence structure I wouldn’t mind. I would actually prefer a slower release rate if these can be fixed. But then again I am fanatical about grammar and such. It’s a habit of mine I guess. All in all I would say that this novel is worth five stars even with the grammatical errors I notice. The story would benefit from a proofreader and editor. However that is the authors choice. Personally I love the novel enough to overlook the mistakes I notice. Summary: Give this story a chance. It became my favorite novel on Webnovel. I think it is better than the translated ones.
