Finishing the story, both knights nodded as Blackheart said, "Don't worry, if they dare to do something funny, we will step forwards as well."
Clearly James plan worked to rope them in. With that, both groups had now an equal number of people in their group. This meant that Edgar could not make a frantic move.
As Edgar passed by James he spoke up, mockingly he said, "Look at that. I guess that trash attracts trash. That good for nothing also has a good for nothing friend." Clearly he was talking about James and Francis.
Looking at the two other knights, Edgar continued, "I would be careful brothers, before you know it, you will get dirty by that trash. If I were you, I would change gro…"
However, before Edgar could finish, he was stopped by a punch that hit his jaw. The punch was so immense, that Edgar flew a few feet back to the ground. The snow that covered the wall reduced the impact of Edgar hitting the ground. However the first punch was already dealt.
The soldiers that accompanied Edgar directly drew their swords as they saw Edgar being sent away flying. Hearing the sword sheathing, James woke up from the shock he was in. He did not expect that Christopher would lose his cool and punch Edgar with an immense strength.
As the soldiers that accompanied Edgar were getting closer, James and his group also unsheathed their swords. Seeing this, the group stopped in their tracks. There was currently a standoff between the two groups.
As the dizziness from the impact started to fade, Edgar stood up with anger filled in his eyes. "How dare you hit me! You dirty filth!" Edgar shouted out at the group of James.
Seeing this, Christopher walked forward laughing and said, "There is more where that came from. If you want I can give you more." It was clear that Christopher was not going to back down at all, instead it looked as if he enjoyed a situation like that.
Taken aback by this, Edgar swallowed the words that he wanted to say. Yet he had to vent out his anger. "Sheath you swords, we will do this as men!" he called out to his men. Upon his order, every one of them sheathed their sword.
Looking back at James, Christopher sheathed his sword as he said, "Well this is going to be fun. Want to join?" Afterwards he cracked his fingers as he walked towards the group.
Not wanting to leave Christopher alone, the rest also followed close behind him as they sheathed their swords as well. Clearly they were walking into a group brawl with Edgar's group. James saw that Edgar was uncertain who to target. He was looking between James and Christopher. He was either going to attack James, his rival, or Christopher, the one that punch and humiliated him.
Before Edgar could make a choice, Christopher dashed forward aiming for Edgar. His arm stretched out, he aimed at the same spot that he previously hit Edgar.
Quickly dodging the punch, Edgar tried to throw a punch himself. The other soldiers were also engaged in a one versus one. The hotheaded Christopher was having the upper hand in his fight. This was also the case for Francis, who was well build.
As for James and Warren, they were equally matched with their opponents. Still feeling the effects of the injury, James could not use much of his strength in the brawl.
