Dumby let a powerful spirit shockwave loose at the Black Flood Dragon. The dragon let out a dull groan and shook its head. Then, with a roar, it charged at Gao Peng.

"Retreat!" Gao Peng ordered Da Zi.

Da Zi didn't need to be told twice. Fear gripped its heart as soon as it sensed the dragon's bloodlust. It had repressed the urge to fly away in fear simply because Gao Peng was riding on its back.

Upon hearing Gao Peng's command, Da Zi reflexively turned around and fled. Who knew Gao Peng was just as much of a coward as I am? it thought. Da Zi couldn't help but feel a slight hint of joy at the thought of having something in common with its master.

The Black Flood Dragon was flying towards them at a terrifying speed. Its huge black body stirred the air around it, its tail sweeping away the clouds in its wake. A foul, ominous wind was now blowing in Gao Peng's direction. Dumby launched itself towards the incoming dragon in the form of a golden blur.
