The atmosphere in the elevator turned heavy and awkward.

The door tried to close several times, but since he was standing at the entrance, the door closed and then opened before it went straight to alarm.

Song Qingchun was irked by the shrill sound and so reached out to press the 'open' button. The alarm stopped, and silence reigned once more in the parking lot.
