His real name was Konno Rei but, after his parents passed away. Rei changed his last name to Izumi to forget his past. Usually, Rei spends his time in hospital caring for his cousin and studying everything about Science or something related to Human Body, especially blood and cells. And it’s just for his little sister. His cousin, Konno Yuuki, was born on May 23, 2010. Due to dystocia, a cesarean section had to be performed. However, an accident happened, and blood transfusions must be needed. Unfortunately, the blood was tainted with HIV. Everyone that knew the incident was pitying Yuuki but, she didn’t surrender and kept fighting her disease. And her spirit also made Rei want to help her. Day and Night, Rei focused on his study and entered medical school at 12. Yep, such a young age. However, the government realized Rei’s talent and determination. Because of it, They decided to enroll him in medical school. And one day, Rei decided to take a break for a while since it’s impossible to study 12 hours a day and spend the rest of the time visiting his cousin and rest. Rei accidentally saw the news about Sword Art Online and was interested. Shortly, Rei bought it and started playing for a while. However, just when he was about to log out, the log out button was gone. Forced teleportation happened, and he saw the game master, Akihiko Kayaba, show up. And this crazy man saying the main feature of SAO is a feature where the player cannot log out. And he also gives an explanation if someone takes off our NerveGear by force which caused death. Not only that. Dying in this game is also dying in real life. The only way to get out is to defeat the boss on the 100th floor. And, how could Rei handle this situation? A situation where he cannot log out and many things that can let him die in real life. He just wanted to have some refreshment. And he promised himself to save his cousin. And that’s why he must get out from this game as fast as he can. -

This is a slice of life, so it's slow, but it should allow you to get a good feel for the characters along the way. Jake has no cheats, no special abilities, no system... he has nothing. Now it is worth keeping in mind, that I plan for Jake to stay at the age of 11. This is because, I want it to become a story ark. That's right, age will be a story ark at some point, AND IT WILL BE A MASSIVE STORY ARK. One that completely changes the way you look at the Pokémon world. We will learn why ash is unageing, as well as, why every other trainer doesn't age either. Just give it some time, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Romance as of now is a no go. If at some point Jake regains the ability to age, then maybe, but until then no. Also... NO HAREM, if romance becomes a thing that exists. Expect at least 1 chapter a week, there may be more or less depending on how I'm feeling though. -
