I can understand many are complaining about the mc being weak at the beginning and only get through the challenges by fooling others, but that's why it's good, mc don't know anything about the world he's been dropped into and all of his actual powers are sealed. He gains strength as the story progresses, if I remember correctly he got stronger than great elders around 200ish chapters, so it's not like he gets strength out of nowhere and also he doesn't always stay weak. From 250ish chapters forward he's going in his conqueror path with both his strength and his mind by outsmarting others. Also his character development is good like how he's more cold blooded and ruthless, he understands that if he wants to succeed in the conqueror path and become someone so strong that he doesn't have to fear anyone or anything, also in the recent chapters he understands that going back to earth is not an option anymore cuz he already became accustomed to the life in this ruthless world and now even if he's to go back to earth he won't be able to live like he used to, so he's slowly accepting this world as his home. Also there may seem like there's many pot holes like how he killed Feng Yu's parents if she's hundreds of years old and he's only 19, but in the latest chapters it's confirmed it's not plot holes but the secret lies with previous Ren and his mysterious bloodline. Also overlord is not the highest rank or someone like the Author(?) but there are also others stronger, someone possibly stronger than the Author(?) is also hinted at in the latest chapters. Alright it seems like I wrote too much so I'll stop now. Also if you're curious about harem then confirmed members(had sex) are XII Ying and Dragon Empress. Future members (had a few moments like hugs, teasing, kiss,etc) Feng Yu, Yelen, Felona. Possible future members Mist, Yu Lin, Yu Lin's mom(oyakodon?), Zhou Yanmei, Zia,etc.

Fml, a experiment subject kept at a normal prison and without proper guards... System appears out of nowhere... Mc's family is treated as a outcast within the family when mc's mother is a 7th circle mage and strongest in the kingdom... And mc's family gets abducted when his mother is that powerful and mc is going to save them when he's nowhere near strong... The writing style and situations felt unnatural and not thought out...
