I have to ccommend author's efforts at writing first, you haven't giiven up and is still writing, so that's why I am going to apologize if my comment on your work offends you. The story line and writing is hard to follow, it's like you are reading something that is flowing backwards. The first 2 or 3 chapters were really interesting for me who enjoys face-slapping, but the next second you know, every character that appears after the fl's mother looks dumbe to me. Then there's this pointless mis understanding that started ok n the first arc of the novel. Honestly, that was my breaking point and I dropped the book after the scene of Emilia runny away from Oliver. I mean, there are so many obvious pointers that what each person sees is a lot different from the truth, no it was too much actually. In the first conversation, the fact that Emilia was working "for" George was obvious with how the situation played out but the mc directly neglected evrything and he even created an illusion of his wife acting as a slut while the woman was doing the same too. in my opinion, if she loved that man so much, then why not take a few moments and actuall "talk" instead of running away. It feels so unnatural. once again, I apologize if my words offend you, but I just really wanted to let you know why many people drop your novel in the first few chapters. Honestly I was expecting a really good read after glimpsing on the plot and the synopsis. They were very interesting.
