I'm just commenting about your first paragraph. She doesn't understand because she wasn't them.... That's absurd Being shot by a gun hurts. How do I know? it's not like I tested it! But it's common sense. The way those disciple reacted to the elder's words can't it also be explained by common sense? Obviously most of the disciples have a good chance of dying in the next challenge but our MC being as OP as she is doesn't, so of course she admires the elder's words and doesn't "understand" the disciples feelings. It isn't consistent with the character she has been portraying. TBH I like the author more than I like the MC. I feel like the author is either a monk or a member of the United Nations.

That is a very well founded reason. If that is so, I have no more criticisms to make. The author must be a debate club president. Truly remarkable.

Since I'm already here I'll give the rest of my thoughts. I feel like I already know how this story will keep progressing in what the romance concerns: the MC will keep being "clueless" about love, she won't take the initiative to confess, she'll keep letting everyone kiss her left when they confess their feelings "even though she doesn't understand what that kind of love is", she won't take the initiative to give a name to the relationship that she has with any of her partners, they will be the ones taking the initiative to accept everyone and give their relationship a name. It's disappointing. No matter how "clueless" she is, she knows what love is. Even if she hasn't seen ANY movies or series, she has read the novel, she KNOWS, even if not for the novel, in her school years she has seen it from her peers and in her curriculum!!! I think she is from china (?) In her Chinese (language) curriculum she has most definitely analysed literary works about love. Please let's stop with the "clueless" MC, there simple isn't a justification for that.

The MC's dullness is starting to get really annoying. Like, does she really not understand why those disciples feel that way ?(I'm not saying their feelings are right or wrong) It's too much privilege for my taste. I liked the concept of a clueless MC about love, but I didn't know that it would infect the other parts of her brain as well.

What should they be ashamed of? The disciple just asked a very reasonable question that was in everyone's minds yet everyone should be ashamed for it??? This is starting to feel to self-righteous for my taste. Simple question => simple answer. Why go on this completely unnecessary and very biased (towards those disciples who don't necessarily work the hardest but have golden fingers/backers that make their journey much easier) monologue??

"Was she no longer pure?" It seems purity culture is still thriving. I'm out.
