The first chapter is pretty intriguing. The big reveal that Adrien became a god, delivered so casually, really caught me off guard. The pacing is fast and kept me hooked. It’s quite an interesting start to say the least.
Thank you for giving this mess of a novel a chance I promise you’ll enjoy it![img=Feeling it]
Shameless author here! Writing a review for your own book is tricky, so I’ll just share a few thoughts. Feel free to ask any questions about the novel in the comments! “What’s the book about?” The Astral Dogma follows Belial, a demon who ventures into the human realm to unseal his people and uncover the truth about an ancient war. Set in a world with a 1950s/steampunk vibe, it’s a place where some humans choose the path of hunters and live lives full of adventure. “What kind of guy is Belial?” Belial is a cynical, disillusioned, delusional young man with an adventurous streak. He’s got a sharp sense of humor and an unshakable determination—not just to survive, but to save his people. Trust me, you’ll like him. “Is he overpowered?” Not at all. Belial will grow stronger, but he won’t breeze through challenges. His victories come from wicked cunning, hard work, and skill. Expect a rich, immersive world—think Elden Ring vibes with complex lore and intricate storytelling. “Is there romance?” Yes, but it’s a slow burn. “So… is there a harem?” Not really. Sure, Belial might find himself surrounded by beautiful people—both men and women—but he’ll likely end up with just one romantic partner. Probably. We’ll see where the story takes him! And for those who love romance, there’ll be plenty of side couples (my favorites!). “How often are you updating?” Right now, I’m committed to writing three chapters a day. That might slow down in the future, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. “Five stars?? Overconfidentmuch?” What can I say? It’s one of the best books I’ve ever written! (The only one so far)Don’t believe me? Read it and decide for yourself.
You are now one of my esteemed employees !😱
"What I'm saying is, you don't have to serve me as much anymore. You volunteered to work for me until death, but I do not want that for you, Sephora," she explained. "You've shown me your loyalty, and I want to treat you accordingly. That's why I want you here in this palace, not as my handmaid, but as a future member of my court."

He chuckled and took Aiyana's hand, saying, "This is my wife, Sylvanwee," then gesturing to me, he added, "She is her handmaid."

"Is this not to your likin', Your Highness?" Orla asked and got an instant hiss from Melisandre.

Is this a GL?
I watched as her pacing grew more intense by the second, I watched as she kept moving back and forth soliloquizing. I have never seen her this much agitated, her well manicured fingers kept running through her light ginger hair as she kept bumping into furniture occasionally and wincing at the pain. Each time she does, I rush to her but she just waves me away and goes back to pacing.
