A very late review, perhaps, but here we go all the same. A lovely novel. Sure, it has its flaws, but no other novel had me hungry for more quite like this one. Likeable characters, conflicts that I actually cared about, comedic moments, interesting fights and a quirky plot. Nostalgia possibly has a big role to play in my undiminished admiration for this work, but its appeal is apparent regardless of the view through my rose-tinted glasses. All one needs to do is to try it, and further encouragement becomes meaningless, since this novel will not let you stop. All this coming from someone who hated the climax portions, and the incessantly repetitive power progression of the main character. Long story short, I highly recommend it. While the destination may not be worth it by itself, the journey definitely makes it enjoyable.

While skimming through other reviews, what surprised me the most was how generous they were with their praise. Apart from the protagonist, none of the other characters seem to matter. They are templates, not characters, and their interactions seem like conversations between AI assistants. The system has a decent design, but the world background is horrendous. Wars, trade and organisations are all dealt with haphazardly, with no sense of immersion or realism whatsoever. Honestly not worth anyone's precious time.

Mediocre writing, bad story development and horrible translation. I persisted in reading because I like family slice-of-life stories, but this one really tested my patience. Characters are not likeable either, designed to be exceedingly shallow and two-faced.

My bones also make cracking sounds when I move, I didn't realise that I was in the thunderous realm all along. Perhaps the joint pains are a bonus.

"Thunderous realm, this must be Mortal Blood's third realm, Thunderous!" Yi Yun was delighted. The five levels of Mortal Blood were natural endpoints after sufficient training. Without any bottlenecks, as long as one worked hard, anyone could reach the fifth level of Mortal Blood with sufficient energy supplied.

It's probably just me, but this story is a real test of patience while it's centered on the music.

I just wanted to know when this Don Quixote album arc finishes, and Renly goes back to making movies.

Thank you for the update. For how many more chapters is this story going to focus on the music?

Oh! My mistake then, the starting of the paragraph was about Looper, so I thought you were referring to that. Django Unchained was so good. Leo's character was one of the first villains that genuinely scared me, although now it seems a bit forceful when compared to Daniel Day-Lewis' 'Bill the Butcher' and 'Daniel Plainview', and Javier Bardem in the movie 'No Country for Old Men'. Those characters made me experience abject terror.

Sure enough, Renly meticulously perused the script of "Looper" and then set it aside without additional comments. He then opened the first script from the last pile: "Django Unchained".

Django Unchained has a good claim too.
