I explained the system when I explained the voting. It's set up this way because he is ALWAYS doing something. If he is sitting down too much, doing too much reading, his BODY will get out of habit. He still KNOWS how to do it, his body just isn't able to because it lost the memory of what it did. And if he does too much practicing at in a row, he would have to reread because he forgot the last bit of what he read due to him sweating a lot out.
He felt horrible today. Along with the fact that it was ditch day, and him along with Phoebe were stuck together, he had learned that the tricks he had learned he couldn't do anymore because he was out of practice using them.
