Not in any schools I have been in. The Class rep would usually just get extra work and no one would really care, 0 power extra responsibilities. Then again we also didn't care about anything our teacher ever told us, so it doesn't come as a surprise
As I was wondering on how to dig out information on Hiwari and Nishikawa's current relationship, the teacher started the next phase. Choosing the "Class Reps". This title is more or less equivalent to the title of the saint in an RPG. The two people who hold this title have the power to move the general opinion of the common-folk easily. They are the ones who get direct commands from the teacher, and they can do anything in order to complete those tasks. Anything obstructing their path is obliterated. However, since this title is relatively easier to obtain than the unique titles there is a disadvantage as well. The holder of this title does not have much power when not following orders. Because of this few people are willing to take this role.
