I typically don't read novels like this (not a fan of 3rd POV), but I'm glad I took the time to read it. The female lead, well throughout imagery, and pace is divine. The concept of a Hunter ID is creative which provides a new take on this thread. I will say there are dialogue blunders that make it hard to know when a character is speaking, etc. But that doesn't take away from the worldbuilding or concept. The first handful of chapters shows Leaena as well-rounded with plenty of room to flourish in her journey. I look forward to future releases. Keep up the amazing work!
Elemental Tear is unique, showcasing a medieval fantasy-like world with mages, teras (brilliant creativity), and selected elemental-wielding heirs. The story follows the mc, Alex, who is discovered by the Church due to his fire abilities detected by the Orb. I'm usually not a fan of 3rd POV, but author delivered the narrative perfectly without repeating the same phrases etc. Keep up the good work!!
Or, instead of omission, it’s fear.
Alex's heart sank, and his spirit felt scarred by the undeniable sense of exclusion. The realization that he was perceived as lesser, unworthy of the same recognition as the others, left him questioning his own worth and place among the chosen heirs. The joy that had filled his heart earlier in the day now seemed distant and faint, replaced by a sense of isolation and despair.

Hi there! Thank you so much for checking out Devour! I figured it was time to place a little announcement of sorts. If you haven't noticed, chapters have been updated recently instead of released. I wasn't thrilled with how I was portraying Verity and decided to revisit her territory. Verity’s POV is meant to explain the Coven and its political figures as well as the messages Callum left behind. If you’d like to check on the new versions, here's a list of chapters I’ve rewritten for Verity’s sake. Following chapters include: 8. Grief & Altitude 12. Divisions & Gnawing Aches 14. Elixir Me Not 16. An Arm for Luck (dialogue with Bellwether) 17. Paper-Thin I want to say thank you to the readers who have been so kind and accepting of my inactivity. I work full time, write when I make time, and had my first surgery on top of life events. It's been a spontaneous year for sure, but I hope I can continue releasing chapters in the near future. Be sure to check the author’s note for contact information as I’ve had a few reach out to me about the topic. Again, thank youu!
There are only 3 chapters so I'll update my review when the story progresses. The story itself has a lot of potential. There's an interesting power/strength regime for each character's supernatural abilities. Wish there was more chapters released for story context. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see how it goes.

Thank you for commenting! So glad to have you here. 😊
This is accurate. Rhea just experienced a traumatic (planned) attack from her ex. She knows he's willing to wait to get what he desires awhile still having control. She needs words of comfort. The last thing on her mind is revenge.
"Tell me! and I promise...He is going to pay double the price for what he did!." Kristine encouraged.

No, I suppose that would just be unfair. What a shame. 🤭
