If anyone wasn't mesmerized by the display they might notice that the flames had no heat to them or rather that it was seemingly absent as though this was an illusion. The moment the dark sun touched the tip of the staff on it's descent however that changed abruptly. The air rippled at the point of contact and all the grass within half a mile dried up and shriveled as an infernal heat rolled over it. The dark sun stopped however and though you couldn't see it sweat appeared all over me from the strain as I began to condense the dark sun smaller and smaller. This was when the Apollo familia snapped out of it and realized that whatever I was doing was NOT something they wanted to finish.

Could Probaly also completely change race too
This is where I came in with my reusable magic items that I could charge a stupid amount of money for and get away with it too. Some gods or goddesses may try and make moves to possess me if I made it obvious I was the source but I had a plan for that. My cursed technique is a lovely thing that would let me quite literally change my face, skin color, voice and even height if I was careful so good fucking luck trying to figure out who I was after that. If I was also wearing organic clothes I could change those as well so tracking me was a nightmarish task.
