I just reread the earlier chapters. It clearly states in chapter 1 that he died at 28 years old. In chapter 7 it mentions 28 years of life experience. On the other hand, the mentions of amount of time playing the game are all different. I think it’s just the author’s forgetfulness and bad math. He’s notorious for it. Still a good story though.
Basically means they let a lot of good people die, including lots of powerful and loyal superhumans, just so they could be perceived even more like a hero.😡😤

The remaining two Iron Clawed Wolves were angered by the death of their comrade. They circled Valerius and Anna, howling incessantly and unleashing their killing intent.

👍I like it. But he probably tried to come up with ways to kill Cassie both because she basically betrayed him in the Forgotten Shore and because she was a threat since she knew his true name and that saying it would make someone his master. He’s mostly over that but not completely.
