Bruno then walked off without saying another word. Leaving Erich absolutely speechless. One thing was certain, Erich had grown ten times more afraid of Bruno than he had in the past. And was beginning to consider transferring back to the Army. As if Bruno's words were true, this war would be on a scale never before seen in human history, or at least not on the European continent. And like hell, he was going to miss out on all the fun!

Especially since Bruno had always been quiet and aloof at the annual family gatherings. So, you can indeed imagine the woman's shock and surprise when Ludwig came home and hugged his younger brother, as if he had been waiting to see the man for over twenty years.

What displayed itself was written in an elaborate blood-red lettering. It was almost like the UI from an RPG. A very clear message displayed itself to Zane, one that the man thought was a hallucination.

Yet Zane made eye contact with what was clearly a member of the walking dead, yet despite this, the monster did not mindlessly run towards Zane in an attempt to devour him. Instead, it continued to watch Zane like an apex predator watching its prey.

With a motion that was perhaps almost too naturally Zane flipped his pocket knife open and took a fighting stance as the bloodstained police officer rushed towards him as if he were a sprinter. Knowing that he only had one chance, Zane punched out with his blade towards the rapid police officer's skull, puncturing it, and digging deep into the man's brain as he tried to tackle Zane to the ground and bite his face off.
