The basis is the introduction of Inferno in chapter 3.
'A Krieger... A spectral entity that consumes souls using a deal. That is a simple explanation though the last paragraph was a bomb. Competition of contracts, the only ones I can find being a competitor would be the devils. After all, they do use such ways to take a soul.'

That pretty much is hard to answer. But in simpler terms, I guess that gods won't even have a definite form. They can transfer everything they wanted to happen and none of them would even need to meet the MC. If we go by logical standards. So, a half-ass reason for this is simply the gods weakening themselves to find things intriguing in their boring lives. In the recent chapters, there was a short discussion about the problem regarding being a god. Knowing everything, being all-powerful, and many more creates a void. Just like how a game becomes boring along with time passing by, the gods in this story are weakening themselves to make it more intriguing to delve into. So in this case, just treat the gods as role-players who have nothing to do.

Nah, I'd rather not fall in the overpowered pit-fall. Though, the third skill might get her become powerful but not too powerful. Overpower creates power creep, making the fights in the future more or less hard to create.

I wanted to make Soteria fight but I couldn’t find a good spot for her in the second soul deal. Making her fight against weak enemies is not something I wanted. Especially with her special role. Though, new enemies will be introduced soon.

It's a passive effect which emerges after the soul deal. Before the soul deal, she is no more different than an observer who can simply talk but not directly interact to those who are alive. This was why, she needed to bluff her way into the deal, and make the bandits fear her before the agreement of the soul deal. The storm signifies, something that is outside of the world, piercing through the barrier of reality, resulting in the emergence of the body. This is what happens after the contract agreement.

No, Project Gate can only activate for the Great Rulers and Key Personnel of the Fortress Bastion. It brings everyone and everything from Azathoth and help reinforce the one in danger.
"Prepare the Project Gate, call all personnel!!!"

Nah, Persia wouldn’t be a peaceful demon. She is more or less the same. The only thing different was that if her daughter was present. She would pretty much hide her Ruthless self. Other than that, she would still act like a tyrant. After all, Change doesn’t come instantly. Though, Persia never knew that an apple never falls far from the tree.

That is the point of this arc. To get back her former cautiousness. Before, she was a weak little snake which is why she was cautious and calculative. A Great Ruler is a deity of a race within the Realm of Piksyon. Power, Pride, Arrogance, and many more bad qualities are commonly found within Rulers(Human Rulers, of course) A young one like her would have a lot to learn. Which is why most Great Rulers she had met had cool heads and were patient and careful. As one would say, wisdoms comes with age(especially when one is centuries years old). A character is affected by the environment she is in. No one stays cool-headed forever while no one also stays arrogant. Depending on their experiences, they can change or maybe they cannot. The only question would be. Could she change? Maybe she becomes the Ruler she had dream of, or maybe she would fall and become a tyrant. or lastly, she can go wild and devour the entire world for herself. In the end, her paths would not only get affected by herself but also by the people around her.

I'm glad someone got that.
"It appears that the enemies are Orks and Ogres. I guess this was why Sister Luna was handling this side. With the physical prowess of Orks and Ogres, they can achieve intriguing technology. Giant Guns, Crazy Armors, and Strange Vehicles. They looked like to be made of scraps, but they still work."

No, she joined due to Soteria's interference. It wasn't her choice to join them, and she was practically forced by the maid. And if someone did capture her, then that would depend on her loyalty to Alastair. Lily's loyalty to the army is flimsy as she is a commissioned mercenary, which is why she wasn't bothered that much by the army's defeat. Whether or not she would join someone stronger than Alastair is dependent on her loyalty. After all, Lily never thought of wanting a powerful master. She simply got subjugated by a powerful one.
