I don't think it would be complicated to make the gun, it would be more difficult to know how to make a functional gun that doesn't explode in your hand.

And now I'm thinking about checking out other stories about Warhammer, in this case totally Warhammer, without being some crossover.
He probably is, at least from what I've superficially observed at least (doesn't mean much on my part), but one thing I think I understood was that this story was just a side project, considering everything it beats many others I've seen by a factor of 0 to 10.
Funny from start to finish, it may not be anything "super elaborate" but it does its job well. A few mistakes here and there but nothing serious, only the most hardcore fanboys would care, but your average mortal who likes Warhammer wouldn't mind too much. One of the few novels that I finished (mainly because it was short, but that's not necessarily a bad thing), I hope that one day the original author will make a continuation of the story like in epilogue 2 but I think that's unlikely to happen or not anytime soon.
