Madara was very happy that things were going smoothly, canon was being pretty much preserved at this point, he avoided the South and North pole like the plague, he didn't want to have anything to do with those places before canon, especially the south one… who knows how things will change if he shows up.

He knew that for a fact as in the future the cabbage merchant's company would be the biggest privately owned company in the world. Normally, Sokka wasn't someone who would care for other people, but this guy had some benefits attached to him. If he could get him to his side, then it would be very beneficial. Especially since he planned to develop the Southern Water Tribe in the future and become the leader of it.

Wasn’t the airship an invention that was made by that inventor in the northern air temple later in the story? It was only after the fire nation collected the prototype that it was added to the fire nation arsenal. That’s the only gripe I have so far, otherwise I think you have made a great fic.
