Yeah but being a hero has gotta be crazy stressful so having a few allies isn’t a bad idea. Plus Caitlyn is supposed to be kind of a genius so she could help him develop tech using the kryptonian information he has on the ship, since he won’t have much freetime as a hero

Kingpin for example, he had watched some of Daredevil and sort of understood the character dynamic. Ruthless? Yes, he was. Cold? He could be that at times but he was also more than this. Wilson Fisk was a good leader, ambitious, a man who valued manners, and a pretty decent partner.
