but the again with Salazzle it could also be that her poison is with a high temperature and since steel is weak to fire then the fire either acts as a way to weaken or remove the steel type or it just give them the burns status .

what about Salazzle's poison with her ability corrosion which allows her to poison other poison and steel types in game.
