While rudimentary, the body of a Sleeper was already being passively enhanced by their essence; thus, Sleepers in general needed less rest and sustenance to function at full capacity.

true, but his flaw removes a lot of options. most tool, garment, and charms are alot more valuable since they are harder to get. plus they need to limit them to things he can use effectively. for instance the charm sunny gets that causes soul damage to everyone, including himself, is honestly not that good without saint.

That was my logic as well, however if you remember Nephis did not have a combat trial at first. She was in a peaceful lighthouse environment. So while she is trained it is all theoretical for them, hence Atlas being placed higher.

I am unsure how I want the pov to be. In the original it is largely third person, commenting on Sunnys life. Whereas most fanfics are usually done from the pov of the mc. I thought the way I have been doing it wasnt too bad. Let me know which way you prefer, as well as if I should put when the pov does swap.
