Elias is bullshitting here. He doesn't actually know much of anything, but he's trying to pull the illusion he knows more than he does. It's only this line and a couple of other spots, so I didn't clarify, though I should've if you're asking questions
"You want me to lead humanity? Why not you? From what I've seen, you're the old ruler of humanity." It was a simple question, and it didn't seem to compute with me.

All in good time
I don't know what exactly I found, but it was interesting, to be sure. It read as such, 'The Watcher is an ancient being, we don't know his origins, nor his history. He should, however, be considered a threat, due to a desire for revenge against our glorious Elder. We expect this revenge to come from one known as "The Hunter", who we have little idea as to who it might be. To counter the everpresent threat that The Watcher presents, we shall form an organisation of three people, known as Justiciars, to secretly combat him and his hunter. That is all we have on and regarding this being.'

fair enough! Though in actuality he's helping the resistance by acting like a leak, under the guise of it being a stinger operation, though it is my fault if that can be misinterpreted.
Hey thanks, man! Though if you could offer some criticism that would be amazing! I'm not too confident in my ability to write, so any feedback would be great!
Yeah, been a while lol
