After reading this "Mated to the Warrior Beast" makes so much more sense. I kinda wish I had listened to your nudges, but I thought I was completing the trilogy. I wound restarting Warrior again and I almost feel like I'm reading it for the first time all over again. I rarely go back and re-read a novel. The fact that I'm doing that and enjoying as if it was the first time speaks to the caliber of your writing. You're an AMAZING author and I kinda hope you continue with the beasts. I want to hear Zan's story and the next generation of Anima. Btw...I never hated Ernie. Ernie and Yhet were some of my favorite characters. I actually didn't hate Nick either. I felt a little torn. He's complex in a way. My feeling was that he genuinely cares for Zev, and was caught between playing the game and keeping Zev safe. Unfortunately though, he also manipulated Zev which was not loving. I was actually hoping Zev would give in a little. I felt like Nick was asking for some validation that Zev recognized he cared, but Zev refused it.I understood, but it made me a little sad. You're so good that we even wind up caring for some of the villains! Lol

He just go be outside. Stay around the tree to make sure she was safe, but be out and breathing the Thana air and look at the stars. That was all. He just needed to give his body a break, and then he'd come back up and be there for her when she woke up in the morning.

I say we move ahead with the ritual—the day after tomorrow. Once that's done and we've had our solitude, I can Xar when we're back and I'll be fully healed." His ribs screamed every time he moved, but he knew within two days that would be an ache, and two days after that he'd be good as new.

I disagree about El feeling like she didn't take full responsibility. I also didn't like that they left the giant elephant in the room and didn't address him going behind her back and putting both himself and the kingdom at risk. It may have been well intentioned, but was very poorly thought out. I know that despite being a little prudish with nudity that El is very sexual and I also realize that they agreed to never let outside circumstances get in the way of the relationship. But still, I wouldn't be able to be angry and intimate at the same time. I would have to get things off my chest first, but again... that's me.
I've read all the Anima stories and re-read Mated to the Warrior Beast. I loved it just as much as the first time I read it. This is some of the most well written work I've ever read. I fell in love with the Anima world. I don't even know what to do with myself now that I've finished. I really hope more books are added to this series. I could even imagine it being a TV series.
