The previous chapter ended with the scav leader dead. While this chapter was prefaced as 5 minutes prior to the previous, the events which transpired in terms of the combat between the MC and the scav leader are completely incongruous to what was written in the previous chapter. It is a jarring contradiction and leaves the reader confused as to what is truly happening. *Personally, I prefer the scene contained within the "The Man" chapter, the previous chapter. It was a clean and concise introduction to the MC's Mr. shadow persona and provided a good starting point to the following annihilation of the remaining scavs.

Yea I had a few similar ideas, depending on a few things, like his magic for example. Which I have already decided on, just trying to think of how to yoink the grimoire from Bell.

I will, have no doubt. Just not right now.

This really is just a start, nothing serious hand holding~ at most, and even that might be too lewd.

Well let me say this, in my admittedly very limited romantic experience things don't progress in a set pattern or in a "perfect" way. love is messy, romance is messy it is a jumble of sudden feelings and uncontrolled words. If you want a "perfect" romance go else were this will not be it, they will be awkward and maybe jump a few steps, maybe back step a few more.

If it was me, I would as well, but I needed an excuse for Leo to progress a lot and plot convenience is the downfall of all logic.
