I'm fine with summons in moderation, I want to see the MCs growth, not him sitting on a stacked deck so to speak, alot of stories with this mechanic devolve into a card game where mc summons a direct counter character that he just so happens to have like "oh I'm fighting superman? good thing I have X character that is completely made of kryptonite and exudes red sun radiation" type stuff ya know
