I wonder how Lucas is going to deal with the situation. Lucas seems to be embroiled in one situation after another albeit advantageous to him.

Why are the royal army trying to break the barrier if their mission is to try and get Lucas to swear allegiance to the firmament's royal family? Would attacking the barrier not be construed as an hostile act, counter-productive to their mission? Thanks for the chapter.
