The start is a little awkward, as not much is really given in terms of knowledge. But, as the MC is a poor kid from a mining town, it's not that surprising, and you learn as he does. The secondary characters are pretty well fleshed out, and I LOVE Lotus/Rae. The beasts have just as much personality as the MC and 2nd charachters. Some of the System stuff (which is minimal) is a little confusing, in terms of who can see what, but I'm just rolling with it, and it's been working just fine. I'm at 404 currently, which is the latest. Overall, definitely a good read.

Honestly, great premise, but not a great execution. MC is a single-minded simpleton. No thought to explore option or figure things out. Seems like he is the epitome of "I pick things up and put them down" gym-bro. Max strength, even when told not to.
